got me praying, man, this hunger - Rannoch’s Ghost - January 12, 2019 *insert eggplant emoji here* Rannoch paused midstep; the fragrance he smelt was unmistakable. @Liffey was in heat—impeccible timing, mother nature. Although there were about a million and one things that he could complain about, the thoughts were disregarded instantly. Rannoch had business to attend to. They had been granted permission to breed, and now all that they had to do was, well, do it. With a newfound hunger and desire driving the former Alpha, Rannoch set off in the direction that the scent originated from. Liffey was safe, among family her family, but there was a certain possessiveness that overcame him—she was his, and there would be hell to pay if anybody (or anything for that matter) came between them. RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Liffey - January 12, 2019 Well, this was just plain humiliating. Liffey’s parents were obviously perfectly aware that she and her mate had, well, mated before, and they knew well enough that she couldn’t choose when she went into heat and what needed to happen next. But still. There was something incredibly creepy about getting impregnated under her parents’ roof, and she was quite disappointed in her body for its lack of decent timing. Thats why Liffey sort of wanted to run for it when she spotted her mate in the approach. She knew what was coming - her body was pulling her towards him as we speak - but still, her embarrassment made her want to resist. She ducked her head away from Rannoch’s clearly hungry gaze, focusing instead on the icicle she had been gnawing on. To deny her devilishly handsome mate was a wasted effort, she knew. She did want more kids, but she really didn’t want to have to make them here where her dad could so easily walk in on them. RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Rannoch’s Ghost - January 13, 2019 In his approach, Rannoch wasn't oblivious to Liffey's averted gaze. Although he hadn't considered their proximity to Finley and Elwood, he was well aware that she didn't seem like herself. Even if he was keen to get things going, he knew that they couldn't continue as they were as long as she seemed reluctant. "Liff?" Rannoch asked once he stopping in front of Liffey, momentarily forgoing his overbearingly lust-driven demeanor. "What's up?" he gave her a once over and frowned, "Are you... okay?" RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Liffey - January 13, 2019 He knew something was wrong. Well, obviously he did. Liffey typically was hard-pressed to ever take her eyes off of her mate, and now, of all times, she had chosen to blatantly look away. She sighed at her own stupidity and turned her head to look sheepishly up at him with her muzzle still dipped towards the ground. "I'm fine..." she answered, uncertain of how exactly to broach this topic. She took in a breath and let it go in a whoosh, acknowledging that beating around the bush was useless. "I don't want to have sex where my parents could walk in on us," Liffey blurted, rather loudly. Embarassed, she ducked her head again and planted it right between her forelegs, trying to bury her face under them. RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Rannoch’s Ghost - January 13, 2019 Although Liffey had begun to beat around the bush, she quickly changed her tune and faced her concern head-on. "Oh, yeah," Rannoch replied quickly, realizing how big of a problem Finley and Elwood's nearness was. "The kids, too," he added. His mind ran rampant as he attempted to figure out a solution that would suit their needs. "It'll be okay," Rannoch said mindlessly, and he stepped forward so that he could kiss her forehead. Liffey's aroma was intoxicating, and he drank it in as he inhaled deeply—he was quickly becoming drunk in love. "We need to go," Rannoch decided suddenly, as he pulled his snout away from her brow. "For the night," it was the only way that they would have the privacy that they wanted. "We won't go far, either. Just into the next territory..." he trailed, wondering what she'd make of the suggestion. RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Liffey - January 16, 2019 If she were feeling less mortified, she might've been amused by the look on her mate's face as he acknowledged her concern. Unfortunately, she was quite mortified, and she had her own moment oh shit moment to deal with after Rannoch reminded her that their kids were around as well. Liffey shut her eyes, feeling panicky. The forehead kiss helped. "For the night?" Liffey asked, her eyes opening again, "You remember last year - this lasts for like a week! We have to... Maybe my parents can keep the kids and we could... Ugh, but I can't just tell them... And how would we explain to the..." The moaned and dropped her head back onto her paws, trying to cover her face once again. RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Rannoch’s Ghost - January 16, 2019 Shit—Liffey'a heat had lasted a week last season. How had he forgotten that? Oh, right. "These hormones, " Rannoch mused quietly, "I can't think straight with you around, Liff." He couldn't help himself. "Alone time!" he thought abruptly after a thoughtful pause, studying her with enthusiasm. "We could just, you know, sneak away every day for some... "alone time" and... do what we need to do," his words were clunkily concocted but his excitement remained. "I mean, it's probably pretty obvious but, it's all I really got right now." RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Liffey - January 17, 2019 Liffey listened as her mate offered a new suggestion. It was a perfectly sound one, and yet, she felt her frustration rise and some inexplicable misery grip her. Alone time? Alone time??? She moaned again, swaying a little as she murmured, "No, no, no, no, noooo..." she whimpered as she stood and looked at him with an expression part angry and part heartbroken. "My parents will still know, Rannoch. I don't want to be around them at all," she whined, throwing her head back dramatically and turning away from him (actually, turning her back on him so he had a clear shot at the goods, poor guy). This all seemed so terribly hopeless. Her life was a black hole, opening wide to swallow her whole. Hormones were such a damn bitch. RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Rannoch’s Ghost - January 19, 2019 Although Rannoch understood where Liffey was coming from, he wasn't sure how to appease her. As long as Elwood, Finley, and the kids were around, she wouldn't be happy about it. Just as Rannoch was about to open his mouth, Liffey turned away to reveal DAT ASS. He paused in mid-thought, mouth ajar and eyes wide as he looked over the splendor that was his wife's rear end. Rannoch no longer had anything to contribute—he was far too preoccupied with the what he saw. RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Liffey - January 20, 2019 Liffey felt herself losing control. Panic was rising, and much as she didn't feel at all sexy in this moment, the scent in the air told her she really needed to be. She sucked in a deep breath, held it for a few seconds, then let it go - four, five, seventeen times, before she finally realized her mate hadn't said a word to her anxieties. She spun to look at him, offense and incredulity written in her face until she saw the look on his. He was utterly dumbstruck, and suddenly so was she. Until she realized why, and then, the sexy came. The Blackthorn melted at his dopey face. The thoughts of Elwood and her kids and the future and even kind of this moment disappeared as she looked at him. She loved this man. She loved him wholly and completely. She'd ripped her entire life into pieces for him, just so he could sew them all up together again for her. And when she'd tried to rend them apart again, he'd brought the sewing kit right back out without question. He was always, always doing what was best for them. Couldn't she do the same? And just? Spread her legs right where her parents and siblings and cousins and kids could just come waltzing in on them at any second? Yeah.. she could. She smiled and strode up to him, pressing herself into his chest and running her muzzle along his throat and neck. She didn't have any words to reassure him or alert him to the 180 her mind had just made. She just purred and nuzzled and groomed and teased, and forgot completely about the temper tantrum she had just been throwing. RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Rannoch’s Ghost - January 21, 2019 Liffey rose abruptly and sashayed towards Rannoch—a change in attitude that was both unexpected and appreciated. He watched her with an expression of desire, his posture leveling and his tail whipping to and fro as she approached. Liffey's tantrum was overlooked, and Rannoch succame to her teasing. Her reception was passionate; Rannoch wasted little time before showing his affection and matching her affections tit-for-tat. "God, I love you," Rannoch breathed, "I love you so much, Liffey." He couldn't see himself resisting her allure for much longer. RE: got me praying, man, this hunger - Liffey - January 25, 2019 Rannoch didn't question her sudden mood swing, instead melting into her ministrations with affectations and touches of his own. Just as she'd anticipated. Liffey grinned, finding the power she had over this magnificent man to be quite the aphrodisiac - just what she needed. And then they kerflompled the next seven days away. The end. |
