even though I'll never know what's up ahead, I'm never letting go - Clary - January 16, 2019 @Terance @Treason This was it. She had made her decision. With her family behind her, Clary neared the forest with a drumbeat in her chest. She had only done this once, much by accident; the art of joining a pack was still very foreign to her, and she tried to find comfort in the knowledge that she at least knew some of the wolves who lived here. They were easy to remember: Terance, and Pyro - she felt a flush of heat at the thought of the latter, but anyway - they had been kind to her and Red, when they had brought the bison skin to the Sunspire and had forged an alliance between her family and theirs, and she put faith in the expectation that they were still much the same. Yet when she came to the division between the pack and the world that had long been hers to chart, Clary cast one long look over her shoulder and reminded herself there was no going back. She couldn't roam forever; she needed to put down roots, and so, she steeled herself, tipped her head back, and lent her voice to the air, a strong and decisive summon for the leadership to meet her there. RE: even though I'll never know what's up ahead, I'm never letting go - Arbiter - January 17, 2019 Unfortunately for her, it was Treason who was first to show up on the scene. She'd been out doing her usual patrol so intercepting the one who called wasn't exactly a hard thing to do. Hell, Terance was probably doing similar so if she ended up being greeted by both of them, it wouldn't be too surprising. She came upon the scene in her usual prowl, eyeing the stranger with her usual calculated gaze as she approached. After she did so, Treason was pretty sure she could detect a bit of Easthollow on her, which did pique her interest. It wasn't as much as she'd expect from a pack wolf, so she'd have to find out the story there if it wasn't explained. Can I help you?It was a weird phrase for the pale devil in comparison to how she had been upon first arriving, but she had practiced and could feign normalcy to a point. Sure she still had a frosty and sometimes scary exterior but there wasn't much she could do about it -- if she smiled it probably would end up looking too menacing. She wasn't trained to be friendly. RE: even though I'll never know what's up ahead, I'm never letting go - Terance - January 18, 2019 terance did, in fact, appear a little bit later. he easily recognized the wolf before him -- but from a while ago. her scent, however, was something that was in the forefront of his brain. easthollow. "clary," he greeted as he approached, rounding to the side of treason. terance, despite his deputy, was trained to be friendly. and while sometimes his exterior gave off something a bit more intimidating, he was more commonly a big ball of compassion. "it's good to see you," he said with a dip of his head. his own posture remained pretty dominant, head high, tail high, shoulders squared, but his expression was much friendlier. treason had already asked the question, so terance didn't bother. |
