take off your clothes and dream that fame - Alessia - January 26, 2019

maybe a mother or someone going for caregiver? :D AW tho!
She finds herself far too restless to stay within Swiftcurrent's borders today, knowing her days of freedom are numbered now. She knows discovering her disappearance will likely send @Kavik into a panic, but the same thought has nagged her for several days now — the desire to visit the coast; to see the ocean and converse with her sister, perhaps see Rokig once more before she is confined to the Creek for many months. She will not be an absent mother, as her own had been — but it will require sacrifices she's not certain she's ready to make.
So she finds herself straying to the nearby woods, taking the first tentative steps of a longer journey. She tells herself she won't be gone long, ever mindful of the rather unpleasant symptoms of pregnancy; she doubts things will get any better as the pregnancy progresses, and the nausea and dizziness have been hellish on their own. Taking this trip alone is likely a bad idea in the first place — but she can't think of a single wolf she'd take with her for this. She has always been private about her grief, perhaps to a fault. She draws to a halt to sniff idly at a seemingly random stain of blood across the snow, suddenly wondering if her sister's death had been bloody. She's glad she never asked.

RE: take off your clothes and dream that fame - Siqsa - January 29, 2019

Siqsa wasn’t very good at being a pack wolf, here. Kavik seemed to elude him, but he had gotten on the trail and tracked the dark Alpha’s scent over to this side of the packlands. While he hadn’t met any other member of Swift Current, nor any of his own prior packmates, Siqsa followed Kaviks trail. A trail that seemed strangely to be intertwined with someone else’s.

The dark hulk of wolf swayed through the light timbers of the lands, not even remotely feeling welcomed, nor included into the ranks. Was this how Kavik felt, too? Had to be... he was once the Alpha of his own pack - he didn’t need to co-lead to be the head wolf in charge. But those mangy dogs had brought Kavik from the throne, and Siqsa was determined to help Kavik see that this place wouldn’t replace what they once had. Maybe he had to find Rue and figure some things out. She out of all would know how terrible his social skills were - maybe she would help him recruit? He could be her backup. Nobody could do anything to her, should he be there.

Barf lightly tinged the air with an acidic twang, but it was stale. And sood lightly copper wafts eroded at him from the snow. He was confused, following the tracks that had remained the same, despite Kaviks scent growing fainter.
