Cutting soap for my dog while he wears a turtleneck - Nocturnal - January 29, 2019

@Alarian - maybe some bonding and discussing babies? While walking borders or something?

It was late in the evening and it had finally stopped snowing. Her speckles almost didn't seem unique anymore now that every dark colored wolf looked like her for a bit. Or perhaps she was too unique... Not a Melonii, no blue tint to her coat, no amazingly beautiful indigo or purple eyes... She was just Nyx now. Nyx and the Meloniis (plus Aries and Alarian). While that did sound like a great band name, she wasn't too happy with not being pure like the rest of them. Would they even accept her being the woman to birth their family's next generation?

Tulugak had settled again, this time sticking close to Damien for a change but the bird was way too high up in the trees to converse or interact with all that much. He almost only came down for dinner time or for when Nyx was alone. Speaking of being alone... She wandered through the Weald, eyes searching for an event to fill her evening before she could return to her lover.

im so sorry for the wait on this!!
For once, he actually isn't trying to avoid Midar. He just can't find him; it seems every time he thinks he's getting close to finding his lover, his scent begins to fade again and he's left wondering where he'd taken a wrong turn. He'll never figure it out, of course. Every tree in the forest looks pretty much the same, and the snow really doesn't help anything — so at this point, he's just sort of hoping Midar finds him.
It's not Midar he runs into, however. It's Nyx, who is perhaps not as exciting as his lover, but he finds himself pleased to see her nonetheless. Nyx, He greets with a dip of his head as he approaches, tail swishing slowly. How are you? At first glance, it had seemed as if she'd been searching for something, same as him, though he holds off on any assumptions. Maybe he's just projecting — but he sort of hopes he isn't the only one who gets a little lost in this stupid forest.

Her ears swiveled atop her head when she heard someone approaching, on guard as always. Luckily, the coat she spotted was a familiar one. Strange as it was, Nyx felt closer to Alarian than she did to the other Meloniis. Them and Aries were the odd ones out in the group, not that anyone seemed to mind except her. I have been fairing well, Alarian. She replied softly, turning to greet him with a gentle dip of her head. Winter can not last for much longer now, I hope. She was making small talk, or at least was attempting to. Spring always came with surprises, so perhaps she was more or less shifting the conversation to something she was interested in.
