A stranger's light comes on slowly - Petra - March 08, 2019 once again the little sprite dared to venture beyond the comforting side of her beloved Erianthe. she was officially one year old and there was little reason why she shouldn't be allowed to trek off on her on adventures sometimes. not that she was restricted, unless it be by her own fear. although her mentor was meant to guide her in the right direction of magick, she was well aware that just as much, if not more, effort had to be put forth by herself. with this new wave of lust for solitary adventures, Petra felt with full confidence that it was fate leading her along to discover each key to her hidden abilities, no matter how short the time is between her departure and returning to Erianthe.
this new escapade brought her between the mountains, standing within a hidden haven that gleamed with potential. how lovely a sight, this place, she couldn't imagine it's glory during the warmer times of the year. her venturing the Vale lead her to a darling spring that she deeply adored. she inched close to its edge, peaking her head over the reflecting waters and catching her own emerald and silver eyes. RE: A stranger's light comes on slowly - Sherigrim - March 10, 2019 He was bound to this pack now. His mentor. His pursuit of Magick demanded for the knowledge The Sky had. He needed them to decipher what the stars spoke to him and, when given that ultimatum on his latest return, he knew he had to stay. He couldn't listen to his soul guides. What is all this time he was wrong? He had to prove himself if he were to know. Petra, Erianthe's Prodigy and pride. He wanted to be that but he couldn't be that wolf now. Magick decided his fate and if it deemed him unfit to be the most powerful, he wouldn't be. So he took to other areas of Magick. Purely for himself, however. If he did so, Erianthe would smile upon him and see he wanted this. To be under her guise. Arenraith would lead him to power and understanding. Show he wasn't going to run away on one of his fantasies as they deemed his quests. He was spending his time looking at plants in the Vale. He knew Petra was close, he'd seem her wandering down here and wanted to see for himself. He'd learned from his quests a number of plants, he wanted to be a Faery. Perhaps he'd even be good enough to become a Shaman. If he could keep himself from being disgusted from wounds. He happened across Petra now. He'd made his way to the spring for Myrto to drink. She'd squeaked constantly and he'd understood. They understood each other. Had each other's backs. Although she was just a mouse, Myrto was his familiar. They had a bond deeper than family. "Hey there, Petra. What'd you find? Anything good?" He grinned, lowering his head for Myrto to drink. |
