In the advanced stages of her pregnancy, she'd neglected to speak with @Aeliana much since the woman had come here. Now, attached to her children nearly 24/7, it was near impossible—but she'd give it a try. She had to; she was part of leadership here, right? Pups or not, she still had responsibilities.
Lily asked @Seabreeze to look after the little ones for just a short while—
call for me if they start making a fuss,she told her friend—and headed onto one of the paths through the willows. She was sore, tired, and flabby. It had been many days since she had taken a good walk, and her muscles cried out in strain.
Once sufficiently far enough away not to wake her children, she howled for Aeliana, then sat down with a hmpph of relief on her haunches. The gentle, salt-tinged breeze kissed her cheek, and she sighed in contentment, closing her eyes.
