and she left her land chaos, - RIP Blodreina - April 07, 2019 task thread || determine arrow lake's most vulnerable length of border and report
blodreina has done enough patrols of arrow lake now to feel comfortable with them, marking them as she goes, though the task is a bit more arduous now than it had been upon their initial arrival to the lake. she gives pause in her patrol of their eastern border to glimpse at her flank with a surveying blue-green eye. there is a rotundness to it that hadn't been there before, a tenderness in her body that definitely hadn't been there before either. she takes a small break to stretch, loosening her muscles, before she continues forward. she's not too big that she is not of help to the wolves and so she intends to be as useful to them as she can be until she has no choice but to retreat to a birthing den — despite the thought of having to have her children in an enclosed space, though she knows is necessary for their survival, makes her want to cringe. the morning isn't chilly, chilly though it's not as warm as it could be; foggy and there's a light rain that falls though it is far from bothersome. blodreina doesn't mind the rain: it leaves a fresh smell in the air that she takes a moment to enjoy before returning to her task at hand. she pauses and marks the only open stretch of border the lake has. the rest of them seem pretty fortified by the towering peaks they touch, though they should still be patrolled she views those borders much like she had the cliffs: doubtful that they'd have much trouble in those areas. |
