fallen ill, shivers creep up the wolfess' spine as ruffled fur and strained breaths take hold of her body. heartbeat unsteady, too fast then too slow, the paleness slithers into her bloodstream before the cold reclaims.
the strain the pregnancy had taken on her body was too much; unprepared, her tail curls up as she splays her legs out in front of her: this is how it ends.
