Life was good.
Lily had a loving mate, three beautiful children, a pack of wonderful friends, and a gorgeous home. There was nothing more in the world she could ask for. She couldn't fathom a better life.
Not like she was going to rest on her laurels, but she did feel as if she deserved a break of some sort. Just a little tiny reprieve, enough time to count the stars she was blessed to live beneath.
A sitter watched the kids, and Lily fell into a doze, dreaming of reality—
And dreaming of the day when her puppet master returned to the Internet.
