his Nokia brick survived that drop as well - Alkyone - May 24, 2019

Nearly deaf Alky passing through! She's outside of the territory and just checking the place out a bit

It had been a while since she had met the sandy female. She had decided to stay with Julep for the time being, if only because it was better than being alone out here. She could hunt and take care of herself, but immediate danger was hard to hear coming when the rush of the sea drowned everything out. Her doe eyes blinked when she scented others. There was a pack nearby, and if they were truly settling nearby perhaps it was best to check them out.

So, she approached. Ever so carefully did her fawn-like body circle their border, looking deeply into the unknown. She knew better than to cross the border - surely someone would come patrol and spot her. It didn't even occur to her to call out for an audience, as she wasn't used to making a sound while alone.

there was a waif lingering on the outskirts of their territory, earning the cold glare of caiaphas' yellow eyes. for a while she watched the sylph, suspicious of the fawn's presence -- wondering if ever she would lift her head in a howl.

none forth-came, and so, the siren marched brusquely ahead. the scowl that draped her features told well her irritant impression, which was then heavily communicated by the rough jut of her jaw and hard press of her voice: "why are you here?" the siren uttered, her tail held at a sickle angle over her thin hips.

She could've just as well been blind together with almost being deaf. Caiaphas' approaching figure was only noticed when she was almost right on top of her, and her expression told Alky she was unwelcome here. Still, she smiled and waved her little paw at the other before the pack wolf spoke.

Due to the rush of the sea, Alky could only rely on her lip-reading skills to understand the other. Alky sat down then, head held low and tail softly thumping on the sand. Exploore - Found yuur pack. Greetings! She babbled, motioning to herself then to the border she had been smart enough not to cross.

RE: his Nokia brick survived that drop as well - Caiaphas - May 26, 2019

once the small she-wolf had seen caiaphas, her posture shifted remarkably -- and the wooden flatness of her tone reminded the siren instantly of towhee. she glanced past alkyone, ensuring she was alone. the wave of the slim figure's tiny paw was unaddressed but not ignored -- she wondered if this wolf suffered a similar affliction.

keeping her head level and lips plainly visible, caipahas spoke once more. "do you need something?" if the slender agouti was here simply out of curiosity, she would find herself soon turned away. yet if she was here to become one of rusalka's members, caiaphas' demeanor might be far more welcoming.

Oof sorry for the short post, really not feeling Alky but don't want her inactive XD

Even if Caiaphas had been annoyed by her presence, it took a lot for Alkyone to stop smiling. She read the other's lips, that were somehow easier to read this time. She grinned then nodded, sticking out her paw. Frieeends? She asked.

RE: his Nokia brick survived that drop as well - Caiaphas - June 17, 2019

while this wolf seemed to suffer a similar affliction as towhee, she was granted none of the patience that caiaphas had had for the dark redhawk woman. there were two reasons thus; towhee had been a packmate, and towhee had never asked to be frieeends.

her fur lifted as she stood straight, her tail arced over her back. "no." caiaphas answered dismissively. if alkyone was not here to join their ranks, caiaphas had no use for her. she had done enough charity in her life, and gone were the days of patiently amusing passerbys that had little to offer.

giving alkyone little choice but to leave, caiaphas watched coldly as the woman made her exit at a quick march.
