But they don't know I'm not - Derg - June 02, 2019

He trundled on in his normal way of life. He'd found no traces of the pack recently. Keen..disappeared. He thought her to have slinked off somewhere..it was unlike her but... he didn't want to find a body. He knew she wasn't taken.
His head swung low, his limbs heavy. The sun baked his back. He should be happy: the long grasses, the summer sun, the insects buzzing and plenty of fresh prey. He attempted a few bounds forward to cheer himself up, trying to pull himself together.
He just went back to trundling. Miles over many days, he just moped about the land. Not eating much, drinking little. He encountered no one.

His head lifted as the sounds and scent of the ocean drifted to him. Maybe this was what he needed. He wouldn't see Grezig...not yet at least. She could find him if her mate was the bastard he was. He wandered down between the cliffs to the bay. A bay marked with blood. He investigated, ever the nosey creature, finding it to be a border. He tipped his head back and howled, wondering what kind of pack marked with blood. He waited, almost teetering over the border with eyes more alert than they'd been for a month.
