So much pain - Aliac - June 06, 2019

@Reiko
She fleed for her life as she felt the blood leaking from her body. The pain that followed was unbearable. She wasn’t ready to die but she felt herself growing weaker with every step. Aliac collapses to the ground and everything around her seems to start spinning until her body finally puts her to sleep and it was then is when she believed it was the end.

RE: So much pain - Reiko - June 06, 2019

I’m bringing home my baby bumble bee- Carefree, and clearly in a great mood - Reiko trotted while singing a tune to herself, tail proud and high in delight.  Won't my mommy be so proud of me-  Evergreen mentioned trying to recruit more members for Kaistleoki, and so while she waited for the day that they would meet with the pack, she figured she would keep her eyes and ears open for anyone looking for a home.

I’m bringing home my baby bumble... bee... The music stopped as a smell caught her attention. A heavy acrid scent, the smell of blood; and there was a lot of it. At first she thought it was just someone's kill, and her stomach squirmed with hunger. A thought that didn't last long when her eyes caught sight of where the smell was going from after following her nose.

A wolf had collapsed, Reiko caught the sight just before the woman fell and immediately the pale female ran up to her. Hey! What happened? What's your name? She asked the questions to try and keep the female from passing out, keep her talking she thought, it was a trick she saw her mother do once. As she quickly assessed the situation, her first thought that this female had lost a lot of blood and the bleeding had to stop as soon as possible. She could barely tell where the bleeding was from, but some of the major wounds were more obvious upon closer investigation.

Don't worry, I'll be right back! She rushed off to gather some things... one thing she saw on her little journey in these lands were the little white flowers. On her journey after banishment, she was shown some things from a medic on how to use plants and other easily found things as remedies for wounds and other ailments. Yarrow, she called it, good for bleeding, a basic plant she was taught right away due to its importance. Quickly she took a mouthful, as much as she could handle and ran it back to the woman's side.

Next was a rock, something just large enough for her to carry and bring closer to the woman.

Then was something a little more tough.... Honey. It was the first time she was going to use the stuff, but the logic was there... it was the first thing that came to mind for slowing the bleeding. The thick sticky substance would aid slowing until the body could help itself - later on would she learn it did so much more. But where will she find it. Frantically she looked on every tree, under every log...

She was falling in and out of  consciousness  as she did so she saw a female in front of her. Even though her vision was blurry the only thing she could think about was sunny and her children before everything went to black and the woman left.

Honey... Honey... Where the heck could she find... HONEY. The buzzing of bees, a sound that resonated like singing of sirens to the desperate female to save this woman's life. Diving head first into the hive, she ignored the stinging of the bees that protected their hive with their lives, grabbing a morsel of the hive and quickly running back to the female... only to feel defeated at the sight.

Eyes closed... No. Dropping the piece of the hive, her heart grew heavy thinking the wort...

There! A breath! Oh thank goodness, she had just lost consciousness, the woman had not perished yet. Working quickly, Reiko bruised the leaves of the plant using the rock she brought, rubbing the flesh into the wound before pouring the honey onto as well. She was careful with the wounds, gentle, letting the woman sleep it off instead of panicking and adding a racing heart to the bleeding.

While the honey settled, Reiko went off to find a clean leaf to press against the wound... and waited. Rolling onto her haunches, and then settling onto her stomach. She kept watch on the woman, facing her, watching... ears on alert in case something came to investigate the smell. Every now and then the would change the leaf, add more money, add more yarrow, and restarted the whole routine as the woman slept.

She fought sleep. Fought hunger. All she did was remain until the woman would wake up.
