she who doesnt hear - Aerasha - June 07, 2019

A favorite time for a fae, and a favorite location all through the lands. She enjoyed most the wonderous colors such a place produced, and the scent she most adored. Aerasha was at peace within the flowers of the meadow, and the silent breeze that hit through her furs. She waited for the summer to hit, and patiently waited for the view of the season to finally arrive to this point. And thus, time was pleasantly spent at Wapun Meadows.

Coated with the scattered petals from the flowers she passed, and a sun shining upon her pelt as it drifted past the day and onto an orange glory. A princess sat by the stream, and hummed a delight tune as she watched a sunset within the waters. She enjoyed a beautiful day.

dawn was decidedly not enjoying the beautiful day. she'd struck out from the territory early morning, driven not by her usual wanderlust (that, of course, had largely faded) but by a restlessness that took hold somewhere deep in her bones and drove her ever onward. she pushed harder and went further than any woman in her condition ought to, and when she reached the meadow, the pain returned viciously.

it bolted down her sides, vivid and quick and accompanied this time by a pseudo-contraction that had the hunter gasp aloud. she is still a moment, gritting her teeth and waking for it to pass. when it does not, she moves toward the creek, realizing suddenly that she's not alone but too occupied to acknowledge the stranger. she drinks deeply, hoping vaguely that water will balm the hurt.

A stranger crept to the biome, a gray figure she has not seen, but noticable scars, like her own, were spotted upon the legs. Though unlike Aerasha's, inflicted by large claws, hers were different, by the scorching of flames, instead of heinous scratching. Perhaps she was a bit obvious on her inquiry of these burns, for her bicolored eyes lingered on them a while, and grew too curious on who she was, "heeeeeey.~" The girl greeted, with a usual loppy smile.

"Howwssss it goiiin'?~"

she's not alone, but the wolf doesn't seem to be entirely there, either - she seems caught in a trance, words stretching on much longer than she ought to. she doesn't like it in the slightest, and so replies with an even, "fine." she scents the air carefully, wondering if the woman ingested something that might be noticeable, but finds a familiar scent instead. "you're from Easthollow?" its been far too long since she visited their borders last - she hasn't thought about it since the fire, but is guilty for not bringing any news.

"Yesss sir'eee.~" She was pleased now that the scent of the Pack begun to cling to her fur. While technically demoted, the scent of Easthollow was with her, and followed her to the outside. Which did draw a few questions, if she was even allowed outside in the first place.. Though no one really stopped her, so she continued on, albiet somewhat hungry due to the new diet restriction. Woes is Aerasha! She must now eat last.

The soft lady sniffed, she could smell the hint of others upon the other, but she did not know of their pack, "where are you froom?~"

her first instinct is to ask about Valette - it's been a long while, and she was born by the Stone Circle, after all. but she thinks it cowardly to ask of her without facing her, for she hasn't forgotten her failure to provide any sort of information to the Circle about Morningside's plight. it hadn't seemed important at the time, but then again, she hadn't been entirely sound of mind at the time.

she won't ask this woman to send a message, either - soon, she will make her own journey to Easthollow. but - as the cramps remind her - not yet. "Swiftcurrent Creek," she offers, noting again the odd lilt of the woman's voice. her most recent meal seems likely to reappear, and so she creases her brow, pulling back from the creek. "nice to meet you. but I think I should go." she's not going to vomit on one of Valette's wolves. with that, she begins her painful way back to the creek.
