fire hazards - Cephaloryn - June 12, 2019

set after meeting vegas, vague about some things!

It was evening by the time he had found himself looking for the lithe hooded male. He expected him to be nearby but who knew, Rokig wasn't trying to keep captives here. There were easier ways to find out where the mismatched male was. His head tilted upwards and he let out a deep call for @Valentine — his tone made it clear it was not a demand nor anything bad. He merely wished to see the other. There was some new things to be shared and perhaps a thing or two to be discussed.

he's nearby when he hears rokig's call, unexpectedly eager to answer it. maybe he shouldn't be so surprised, though, given the plateau's relative emptiness; there simply isn't a lot to do yet, though he's been idly marking the borders. he finds his leader quickly, greeting him with a chuff and a dip of his head as he draws nearer. his gaze is inquisitive, but he remains silent even as he draws to a halt, waiting to see what rokig has to say.

Rokig shouldn't have been surprised that Valentine arrived timely. Relief flooded over him though and his tail gave a few lazy waves. Hey, sort of got good news. He starts off with as his silver gaze briefly sweeps over Valentine. If the male is going to be staying his well being is Rokig's concern. Yet nothing looks wrong or out of place from what he could tell — which wasn't much considering how short Rokig had known him. I ran into someone who seems willing to join up with us. He's a bit odd but seems harmless. Name's Vegas, pale with blue eyes, tall.

he grins at the words "good news", briefly raising an eyebrow when he notices rokig's probing gaze. he chooses not to comment, though, more interested in what the man has to say. it is good news. he sounds hot, he says playfully, mostly to get a reaction; he'll have to see for himself, of course. a bit more seriously, he adds: so, how many does that make? three?

RE: fire hazards - Cephaloryn - June 16, 2019

A snort escaped him at the hot comment. If he's your type, I really don't need to worry about you doing unseemly things to me. He had half a mind to tell Valentine to take it easy on their newest recruit but he bit his tongue. Rokig truly doubted that Valentine would make Vegas uncomfortable.

He lets his mind stop dwelling on those things as the discussion of numbers comes up. Yeah, three. Not a shabby start. It wasn't enough for him to stop poking around for wolves to draw in but it meant that maybe he wouldn't be doing the only corralling of members. There was now two other faces (who were both admittedly more attractive and less stand-offish than him) to welcome anyone who stumbled upon the plateau.

he laughs at rokig's response, shaking his head slightly. lucky for you, i don't have a type, he tells him, though it's not quite the truth. he has a type — but it doesn't mean he's very picky. a moment later, he turns, gesturing for rokig to follow him. staying in one place too long makes him antsy. any other news?

RE: fire hazards - Cephaloryn - June 16, 2019

Just my luck, eh? He meant well with his words and truthfully, if he had thought Valentine would do something questionable to him he probably wouldn't be so fond of keeping the male around. Then again he wasn't entirely sure what his companion was capable of. Best to dwell on those things later in privacy.

He was content to fall into line with Valentine's steps, letting the male lead them wherever he wanted. Not really. His words were touched with a bit of disappointment and he did his best to move on from it. What about you? Anything worthwhile or thoughts you have?

RE: fire hazards - Crazy Val - June 16, 2019

nah, he says, shrugging as he leads rokig closer to the water's edge. honestly, i'm bored as fuck. he shoots the grey leader a half-expectant glance as he says it. you wanted me here, it says, so you fix it. somehow, he gets the feeling he's going to be disappointed.

RE: fire hazards - Cephaloryn - June 18, 2019

Rokig hadn't been looking for the sort of response and internally he was ready to tell him to go if he was so bored. But it was not fair or leader like. Truthfully, it was a bit dull up here on the plateau. Perhaps the coast was a bit of a wasteland these days — he really didn't know.

Well...if you like scouting, or spying, I might have something you could do. He answers in a slow deep tone as his eyes remained locked on the ocean.
