Truth be told, he wanted to avoid what had happened with Vegas. Finding out someone else had been here was a bit unnerving — even if it had worked out in his favor. So he had set out to make proper markers. They might not be the heaviest ones around with their small numbers but they would alert others of the small group's presence. He had made sure to inform @Valentine and @Vegas of his plans, invited them along if they wished to join, before he set out towards the bottom of the plateau. It was here that he would begin to mark the land that he seemed so set on claiming. RE: might have told 'em some stuff - Wraen - June 23, 2019 It was an unwelcome surprise for Wraen to find out that someone was forming a pack in such a place, that effectively blocked a safe passage for her from the hinterlands to the rest of the Teekon. She did not see the executor right away, but the scent marks left by him were very thoroughly inspected and as an act of pure rebelousness (and dare-devillry) marked over by her. She also scratched some earth, to leave a better impact and then followed, until she finally saw the guy. "What do you think you are doing?" she asked in that dangerous manner an angry granny does, when she has caught some lads stealing apples from her orchard and she has an advantage of rightful anger and a heavy metal pan in her hands. RE: might have told 'em some stuff - Cephaloryn - June 25, 2019 The tone caused his brows to dig deep into his features. He took his time to finish up marking a patch of rocks before his silver gaze settled on the stranger's face.
Making borders. He replied in a deadpan way. Could she not smell them or see him? It was perhaps for the best that he did not have an easy way of telling she had marked over his other ones. Otherwise he would likely not be one for talking at this moment — teeth would have been far more appropriate. RE: might have told 'em some stuff - Wraen - June 30, 2019 Wraen did not let herself be intimidated. Usually she was very aware of her small size and therefore a disadvantage at any conflict, where body mass mattered. However, while it was still a battle of words, she could stand her ground well and fight back. "But, why here? This is the shortest passage to the other end of the shores and now you are peeing all over it!" she protested. "There is a nice, abandoned property right over there," she beckoned in the direction of The Sentinels, which was hardly inhabitable even years after the tragedy had destroyed the place. "Or a whole valley just beyond those mountains. Here you are blocking the way for most wolves that live in the hinterlands." Wraen was soon brought back to reason and did not argue much longer with the guy. She left, feeling discontent about the whole ordeal, but accepting that there was nothing she could do to prevent the guys from settling here, if they wished so. |
