my car smells like chocolate - RIP Polaris - June 14, 2019 @Helios <3
dusk had fallen, and it was beautiful. the transition from day to night was always a pleasant thing to gaze upon but for some reason tonight it was extra spectacular, in fact each night had grown prettier with its arrival than the one before it. it seemed to just be another perk of summer. her new favourite word, she liked to bounce around just humming it to herself sometimes; wanting to remind everyone to be happy because it was summer! did you need anymore reasons? the little dove could currently be found just outside the pack's central area, a little grey fluffball basked in the burning colours of the falling sun, watching through squinted, wonderous eyes as the large glowing orb began to fall behind the horizon- leaving a stream of fire washing across the lands. above her the sky was turning a soft violet, little stars already beginning to peak out although their vibrance was dull yet in comparison to the still setting sun. where does it go? her little head was cocked to the side as she pondered on it, did the earth open up and swallow it somewhere far away? was that it's den, inside the ground? her tail started flicking across the ground excitedly at the thought, she'd have to find it some day! she'd be the first wolf ever to and oh how proud everyone would be of her, a broad smile tugs at her pretty features at the thought. as mist floats across the darkening grasses and crickets begin to chirp a little content sigh slips from her small jaws, what a great day to be alive. RE: my car smells like chocolate - Helios - June 15, 2019 Thank you for starting! ❤
Unlike the cheer of his sister, the raven boy remains unenthusiastic about the warmer weather. It is strange, a change he is not prepared for. The growing of flowers and common rain during Spring left him sneezing often, allergies already forming at such a young age. His eyes even felt puffy and dry. Something in the air certainly did not agree with him. Alas, night remains his favorite and that is something he could cheer about alongside Polaris. When he finds her missing by dusk, the boy takes it upon himself to seek her out. He follows her scent, having practiced numerous times with following @Rosalie from the den to the creek and back. He's starting to get used to Swiftcurrent's territory to the point he no longer fears it. Their home does not stop at their dens, but instead, is the entirety of the area. Helios is determined to keep it theirs. He wanders until he reaches near the center of the Creek. Bouncing ahead is a flicker of red, orange and softer pastels. He recognizes the spots immediately. Polaris,he calls out, approaching his sister ever tied to the nature around her. He greets her with a touch to her cheek, just as Maman always does. RE: my car smells like chocolate - RIP Polaris - June 16, 2019 so lost in the scenery about her, polaris would remain completely unaware of her brother's presence until he called out her name; causing her to jump lightly. however rather than resorting to annoyance- the silvery girl's eyes gleam with mirth as she turns happily to see her brother picking his way over. she nuzzles into his touch briefly before pulling back, always overjoyed to be in the company of a sibling. she had come to learn in a very short time that they were stronger together, that family really meant everything. little tail swishing behind her, the girl would grin happily; greeting him now with a chirped "heya"
she'd motion for him to stay quiet for a moment, ears leaning forward as she listened attentively- the crickets were increasing in volume and she relished in their song. not quite as melodic as the birds but enjoyable to have as a replacement whilst the feathered animals began to seek shelter for sleep and their own noise grew more sparing. "hear it?" she'd ask her brother softly, head tilting in a quick little bird like movement as bright eyes rest on his dark form. "crickets" she's proud to inform, having been told it during one of her many relentless questioning sprees. just then the grass would sway in front of them and a little laugh of delight would hop from her as one of the bugs jumped out right in front of helios before hopping off again before polaris could even consider making an attempt to catch it. she watches it with wonder for as long as she can before her vision goes blurry and she looses track of it, giving her head a little shake. she focuses on helios once more, they were quite polar opposites when it came to both looks and traits but she felt such a deep fondness for her older brother nevertheless. they all tended to tire quickly but she noticed he seemed to a lot more susceptible to it and felt a deep protectiveness towards him due to it. so although she refrained from mentioning it lest he think she found him weak, which she didn't, she'd find herself checking to see how he was doing frequently anyway. |
