When the last tree's fallen; The animal can't hide - Sadiq - June 14, 2019

Task #1! make sure there are no recent signs of any foreign predators within arrow lake; paying close attention to the areas surrounding the dens of diaspora mothers.

Here we go

He had been given a task. One that he found fit his capabilities and his instincts rather well. He had been looking out for his sisters’ den since arriving at the lake, checking surrounding area for predators around the other den site and the territory in general was merely expanding on the self-imposed task. Between seeing Takiyok and scouting the territory or surrounding territories, he was happy to go about his task. Especially after the fight with that grizzly bear. Sadiq had been on high alert, seeing Kazimir injured so grievously made him angry and he had no intention of sitting idly by when there could be dangerous predators around.

Thinking of the most pressing locations first, Sadiq headed to @Blodreina and @Ingram ‘s densite first to check on them and little @Praimfaya. As the youngest pup she was the most vulnerable. Not wanting to intrude to much on the young family, the northern man brought a gift with him so he might be allowed to approach and fully complete his task. A fish dangled from his jaws, freshly caught just a little while ago.

RE: When the last tree's fallen; The animal can't hide - RIP Praimfaya - June 15, 2019

i'm just going to pp @Blodreina for now ...but i'll toss her in here in full if needed. :-)

praimfaya was not far from the den, playing hide and seek with blodreina not too far. never too far. praimfaya kept getting caught — must've had something to do with the insane amount of giggling fits she had as she crouched behind a bush with her entire butt sticking out ( going with that thought if she couldn't see her mother than her mother couldn't see her ) — but she found blodreina just as often. though praimfaya thought it was just a fun game ( and it was ) blodreina was working on honing her tracking instincts. you found me! blodreina praises as praimfaya rounds a fallen log with a small growl and pounces on her mother's tail.

the sound of footfalls — not ingram's ( cuz praimfaya would know those anywhere ) — draws both wanheda and wanlida's attention and priamfaya slinks down in stalking mode, hackles bristled as she prances after her warrior mother, mimicking her stiff and proud stature. blodreina recognizes the pale man that is near their den — something grasped betwixt his jaws — but praimfaya doesn't. hey! she snaps at him in trigedasleng. who are you? chon yu bilaik? the fearless wanheda asks him.

Finding mother and daughter at play brought a tiny tug to the corners of his lips, although a sad tinge to his eyes. Soon enough they are both making their way toward him. Dipping his head in deference of the mother, he dropped the meal at her feet. Opening his mouth to greet the pair, he was surprised by the forceful tone of the little girl.

He doesn’t understand the words she spews at him, and he wonders if they are even of the common tongue. Tilting his head, and blinking at the silver girl. He was impressed at her display, the large man completely foreign to her, and yet she spoke fearlessly. “I am Sadiq.” He tried to appease her. “You are Praimfaya.”

Turning back momentarily to her mother, “I am patrolling for predators.” Sadiq had practiced this line over and over since being given this assignment. He wanted to let the mothers now why he was lurking around their dens and the surrounding area.
