fall apart twice a day - Rosalie - June 15, 2019 AW!!
With the pups, Kavik and Alessia still out and about, Lie was anxiously waiting for their return. Waiting patiently was never a skill she had employed, and so she set out on some sort of patrol. Occasionally leaving her scent behind, mostly she was walking to keep her mind from thinking of her family. She kept safely away from the border, closer inland than a normal patrol. RE: fall apart twice a day - Alessia - June 20, 2019 She leaves a bit ahead of her children and husband, trusting Kavik to see the children back to the borders safely. Rosalie is on her mind, as she has been often as of late (though this is nothing new); her pregnancy has almost reached its end, and Alessia can't help but worry for her svelte lover. Childbirth had been difficult, more difficult than anything she's ever experienced — and she would never have wished it on Rosalie. Swallowing her guilt, she tracks her scent through the territory, tail waving eagerly. Seeing Rosalie always brings her joy, even now that it's accompanied by a strange, bitter mix of emotions. Rosalie,She calls when she spots her, trying to sound cheerful. The affection in her voice is genuine, at least. My love — how are you feeling? RE: fall apart twice a day - Rosalie - June 26, 2019 Surprised by Alessia’s call, yet in a pleasant manner. Lie perks instantly, her ears erect and a smile on her lips. “Alessia.” The woman parrots back to her lover, she doesn’t miss the forced cheerful inflection, but she lets it slid for the time being. These were stressful times they lived in. “I—” Her automatic response stilled on her tongue. Her normally rehearsed, I’m fine, she conveyed to all others, wasn’t right not when she was speaking with Alessia. Her rock, her confident, the only person to truly understand her. She was torn now…Rosalie hated the idea of lying to her obsidian lover, but she also didn’t want to worry her. Thinking on her feet, she stretched her smile a little wider than normal, “I’m as well as can be expected.” The woman was usually quick on her toes, and yet even she knew that fell flat. But she continued the charade. If Alessia could pretend to be cheerful, then Lie could pretend to be fine. |
