are you cussing with me? - Zosar - July 06, 2019 He had presumably departed from his (somewhat) kin in order to head down the coastline. The bay gave way to a cliff and plateau, both of which he hurried by with little interest. Although where he ended up wasn't much better. The forest — could he even call it that? — was ruined by some disaster he could not fathom. Any trees left standing seemed unstable and he was left with plenty of fallen trees to climb over or wiggle under. As much as he wished to depart from here in a hurry too, he supposed it would not hurt to poke around a little bit on his way out. Perhaps small prey was lurking nearby or even a face that he might be able to weasel information out of. RE: are you cussing with me? - Nuet - July 07, 2019 The copperhead wound her way along the coastline at an impractical rate, her long-limbed strides devouring the landscape as she hiked along; there was no destination in mind, but the tempo of her steps seemed insistent, confident. She flowed from one place to the next — deftly striding across the barnacle barbed stones or softly crunching over sand. The sand gave way to soil, reeds of brine-scented grass, and the occasional tree, until her nimble figure came to an abrupt halt within a small copse of woodland. The girl's ribs undulated softly with the beat of her panting, but she did not stop for long. The scent of wolf crept up on her; it was hard to track anything with the strong ocean smell everywhere, although she ducked her head and attempted to locate the scent all the same. The further she went the more bent and broken the forest appeared to be: numerous trunks were caught sidelong or, in some cases, were shattered and moss-hewn where they sat rotting. Nuet pranced along for a few more steps before feeling eyes upon her, and stopped - frozen, cautious - with one paw raised, and chuffed loudly at her surroundings. RE: are you cussing with me? - Zosar - July 08, 2019 He spotted her before that chuff and she was...well, she was cute honestly. Perhaps he was biased in a way because she looked like him a bit and he thought he was fairly good looking. Cockiness aside, she had called out and it was only fair to stop staring like a creep and answer her back. A chuff escaped him to alert her to his presence a few yards away. His body posture was casual as he waited for a response from her. If she wanted to hang around for a bit, perhaps converse some, he would be more than happy to indulge her. He wasn't about to shove his nose where it wasn't wanted though. Not this time. RE: are you cussing with me? - Nuet - July 12, 2019 An echoed call returned her way. She canted her sharp snout towards the sound of the voice and sniffed the air purposefully and drew closer with a measured step, flowing towards the radiant silhouette of a stranger - though, not so strange. Their conformation aligned with her own, and much to her surprised delight, Nuet had uncovered her first stranger in weeks. How fortuitous that they resemble a beast of Indikus. Mahraj, drawls her voice, smooth and even as always. He does not look familiar except to be composed of honeyed shades of gold; a mirrored version of herself, lighter in tone than she is and a little heavier set. A thin line draws across her face - an attempted smile, maybe. The weight of her situation is still a bit overwhelming to her, but Neut is pleased to have the company. |
