A clean slate and buried war crimes - Takiyok - July 26, 2019
She hadn't ventured beyond Diaspora's claim since before her pups were born, and now that they were old enough that they didn't rely solely on her for food and warmth, she finally felt comfortable feeding her need to wander. She didn't go far, though, only a short distance from the lake was all she was comfortable with just yet. She was familiar with the peak here, and so she trekked up the summit with relative ease given that she hadn't been doing such things recently.
When she reached a point high enough for her liking, she settled on a large, protruding cliff, enjoying the way the brisk air moved through her thick northern coat as she surveyed the hills and valleys down below.
