don't make this about the mustache. - Yami - July 27, 2019 Her golden eyes were unfocused as she stared out across the valley that stretched out before her. Days had passed since Kiwi had departed to visit her family--too many of them. She wasn't late returning by any means, not yet. But still, Yami didn't feel right. She hadn't cared for Kiwi going in the first place. After all, who the fuck cared about family? What did her friend need her family for? Yami certainly didn't need hers. She had Kiwi and they had the mountain. It was bullshit that her friend and leader seemed to need anything else. Yami kicked a rock off the ledge she was standing on and listened as it bounced against the cliffside below. She turned away abruptly and stalked off, unable to stay on the mountain any longer. With Kiwi gone, it was up to her to protect their territory. But Yami was feeling a little too fuck it for anything like that. If Kiwi could leave, then so could she. Let her wonder where she was and if she'd make it back on time. And serve her right. The sun had come up by the time Yami began to reconsider her decision. She was far from the mountain now, but it loomed in the distance behind her. She really ought to go back. She didn't really want Kiwi to come home and she not be there, did she? I mean, she did, but... God this was frustrating. With a huff, Yami turned away again and kept going. She'd go back eventually, but for now she just wanted to clear her head. RE: don't make this about the mustache. - Aditya - August 01, 2019 it had been some time since he'd left the creek, and aditya was feeling the intense need to stretch his legs. there was such a thing as cabin fever, even with two charming children and the beautiful woman who mothered them. he was a wanderer by nature, always. nothing would ever change that. and nothing would ever change his natural friendliness, either. across the meadow, he spotted the young woman, and gave her an amiable chuff, trotting toward her with tail wagging high. the language barrier still existed, but it was improving day by day. and, perhaps, she spoke his mother's language. a slim chance of that, but one that heartened him nonetheless. hello!he called out -- one of the several words in the common tongue he'd managed to snatch back. RE: don't make this about the mustache. - Yami - August 16, 2019 Yami was too wrapped up in her thoughts to notice the nearby stranger until he was calling out to her. She was so distracted in fact that she jumped at his voice and spun on the spot to face him, hackles raised in alarm. When her eyes landed on him, she settled a bit at the obviously friendly and non-threatening way he held himself. Her irritation at the other things happening in her life kept her own posture tense. "Uh, hey," she replied, trying to smile but failing because she honestly didn't try. She looked him over and found herself instantly intrigued. He was an older guy (just her type!) and good-looking, but not even this was enough quite yet to make her slip into her usual charming, alluring self that would otherwise have been the mask the donned for the stranger. He might've said something then, but Yami was too distracted to care much. She attempted to share a smile, but excused herself shortly. She was upset, angry, annoyed. And while he was cute and all, she really just wanted to be alone in her drama. sorry to cut this short--pulling yamz from the game. ilu tho!
