i heard everybody’s dying in the summer - Rannoch’s Ghost - July 27, 2019

Rannoch sought refuge from the heat of the day; another hot day was upon the hinterlands, and the weather was starting to get the best of him. Rannoch's breaths came in short puffs, his chest heaving with noticeable purpose. He was a wolf conditioned for colder climates, and the summer months were often uncomfortable.

The gentle babbling of a nearby stream enticed Rannoch from his wandering, and soon he found his retreat. Moving to the middle of the shallow creek, Rannoch laid and sent droplets upon the graveled shore. He felt relieved almost instantly, but his panting persisted. For now, he was more comfortable than he had been moments prior.

RE: i heard everybody’s dying in the summer - Cinder - July 27, 2019

Thank you for starting! <3

Unlike many others among the Teekon's wolf population, Cinder was conjuring heaps of exuberance from the summer heat - while others would cloak themselves in the shade beneath canopies of leaves, or bathe in the cool liquid of streams, the rabbit-wolf hopped around with bliss, stubby tail wiggling behind him without a single care upon his little face.

He'd spent the morning corralling small birds, observing their panicked scrambles, only to end up sat with one perched mirthfully between his shoulder blades - why, he'd got no idea, but he was ebullient to make a temporary friend, until the creature spread its wings to follow the meandering path of a worm. After that, he'd wandered around aimlessly, until a scent had passed his way upon the breeze; Rannoch. With a newborn grin spreading across his visage, the boy picked up his pace and pranced toward the source, the stream bubbling into his view.

"Hallo!" he called, sitting his butt at the edge of the water and wiggling his tail merrily.
