The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: Potential violence Her sister was here, roaming around the coast; Searching for something, searching for her. Nakara poisoned her with something and Serem could feel her brain pounding inside of her skull and her body grow shaky as she attempted to regain a stable footing. Her vision was hazy and a silhouette of a wolf seemed to materialize out of thin air sending a crisp cold chill that traced up her spine. It’s red eyes seemed to peer into her soul and the fear it induced within her was unbearable. “What do you want!” She screamed at the figure hoping it would just go away, hoping the fear would just go away. The female thought she was seeing things; she had to have been; this was all some sort of twisted nightmare. “You’ll never escape me. I will find you no matter where you run!” She knew that voice. “Nightfire...” She now knew the face of the creature in front of her and she was left utterly speechless. She shook her head frantically, attempting to wake up from whatever this was. “Your not real! Your dead! I killed you!” She had survived so long and thought she had finally made peace with her mind. “You thought I had gone didn’t you, how naive. Poor little Serem without Hashut here to protect you. Your pathetic.” He was taunting her, tormenting her as he came closer and snarled at her with a twisted smirk he spoke again. “You will never get rid of me!” The ghost or whatever she deemed it as rushed towards her and she fell to the ground closing her eyes. “Your not real....this isn’t real.....your gone.” She repeated through her tears and denial. Anyone can join preferably someone she hasn’t met
RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Priest - July 30, 2019 He didn't expect to hear wailng outside of the mountain, yet there it was. The volcano and it's inhabitants remained sleeping while he took the gingerly crunchful trek around the perimeter to find any food or useful materials for medicines and such around. There was a nice piece of forest that fringed the mountain, but he almost felt it wasn't enough. Perhaps he chose the wrong place for them? Guilt began to eat at him, but he swallowed it to find whoever the hell was crying and losing their shit in this little bit of homestead he tried to make with the rest of his family. The Divine of Torment knew well enough that it couldn't have been @Krynn who was doing this moaning, and it didn't seem to be @Novae or even @Alula by the sound of it. He idly wished it was @Hum, but that was more for the selfish reason of hoping she'd just be here. It clearly wasn't @Earp, and damn sure wasn't one of the others that he hadn't come across, because she wasn't a Sahira. Or atleast, from the sounds of her delusions and cries, he hoped she wasn't a Sahira; it was already hard enough to deal with Alula's bipolar ass. If he had to shepherd another crazy, he'd be alot less understanding of how his own fucking reality was meant to work. But hell, would it be any different, really?"Aye, you alright?" he asked the clearly not-alright chick idiotically. "Whats the problem?" He walked up, looking around for what should have been a shituation, but it was just her. By herself. Cowering from nothing. Or was there something out there? PAranOid.
RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Serem - July 30, 2019 The delusions didn’t cease and she could hear the whispers he was sending through her head. This was real this was happening yet deep down she knew this was all a trick she grew quiet abruptly when she saw a wolf in front of her. Yet she thought it was another mind game her subconscious was playing on her. “Stay away!” She took a few steps back and gave a low growl towards the wolf, figure, whatever the hell it was she wasn’t sure now. Then suddenly everything became so clear to her now as she felt herself almost collapse on the ground. “I...I’ve been poisoned...I’m seeing things....” She tried to keep her speech coherent but it was hard when the dry mouth set in...she knew exactly what was happening to her now. RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Priest - July 30, 2019 Shit. Shit. Well- She wasn't blood so- he shouldn't help her. But he didn't know anyone else around here, and it was gonna be bad if he made enemies right now. For fucks sake, how was he supposed to deal with something that didn't need to involve him? It would be better if the girl owed him than if he fucked up and killed her on their doorstep- because if he hadn't helped her, then it would look just like a homicide. "How? Did you eat it? Was it injected? How long ago were you poisoned? And with what, do you know?" His medical training threatened to overwhelm him, and with an unbelievably deep sigh, he steadied himself. He didn't know if Earp was around, or even if Novae was close, but he needed an assistant to either stay with this girl. Turning over his shoulder, he called out in a swift and hopefully effictive howl as he prayed to the Ancients above that it went answered and returned. "Nu adata fanva- kaiefas buti kinliri!" If no one returned his call, he'd have to settle this alone. Wouldn't be the first time- And probably wouldn't be the last.RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Serem - July 30, 2019 She tried to register what he was saying as he questioned her and her knowledge of herbs only went so far but she knew enough to get by. “I...I don’t know Jimson weed and something else.” She knew the poison because she had used it twice before but not on herself of course. “My sister tainted the meat we ate.” That’s the only thing she had ate recently and if she survived this, she was going to kill that bitch. Painfully and slowly. “Are you a medic....do you know herbs...It was recent so I need something to help me vomit.” She he tried eating grass but nothing seemed to be working. “Your going to die out here...” The whisper went through her head and she tried her best to ignore it....but what if it was right. The male called out for someone in a language she didn’t recognize but she didn’t; no she mentally couldn’t ponder on it for long. RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Priest - July 30, 2019
Well, so long as the poison wasn't too far into her system, she ought to be fine. It didn't sound too far of a strong poison, and t was ingested with food, which would have slowed down the digestion of the poison's breakdown, anyways. "Yarrow- that all that near enough for me to grab." That was all he could readily offer her, and even that was halfway out the side of the forest. Shit, in fact, how would he know she wasn't gonna just up and spy through this territory he was wanting to claim for his family? "Stay here- I'll go grab some really quick." He knew it would be a minute, but if she was willing to survive, she'd hold on. RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Hum - July 30, 2019 bit crappy, apologies, am sick + in another country at the moment. also feel free to skip! she's just lurking.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* *:・゚✧*:・゚✧ And of course, there she was... Sedulous eyes of the ancients themselves leered down from scabrous cliffs, inexorable in their discordant stares - only a fool would look upon the orbs of the underworld and witness a feigned mirage of radience. She did not care if this one fell, as so many others did, from day to day - she was simply another bygone spirit, another ribbon to tie the sahira to the world of the dead. It was why she remained, to see what could provail; life, or death. Surely, she must stay close. If she was felicitous enough to witness a death upon these rocks, it would bind her to this soul in a way that did not all too frequently occur - she remained the watcher of the fallen, and she must stay close in order to collect the girl's harrowed soul, should it flee through her lips in forlorn escape to whatever heavens or hell lay beyond. But, woefully... she was not the only watcher to take heed to the pained moans. Her mosaic sibling, so remarkably respondant in the pressure of necessity, was expeditious to arrive to the scene and, much to Hum's dismay, did not allow this corpse to crumble so soon. While the poltergeist was largely irked in her brother's celerity to provide aid, she did not reveal herself from the caliginous tenebrosity of the shadows; she was sure he was to notice her presence soon, but, trusts that he will not expose her whereabouts. So she waited, to see what would become of this occurance. RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Alula - July 30, 2019 The days since the incident had passed by in a blur. She strayed after the other Sahiras but made no effort to converse nor did she seek out company in her dark savior. In fact some could speculate she purposely disappeared for a day or so only to turn back up behind the group. Outwardly she looked the same though the bright gleam in her eyes seemed to have dulled down, leaving her looking empty of much else except sadness. That day she had heard Priest's voice, calling out and pulling her to respond to his call for help but she found her paws moving intentionally slow across the ground. She wasn't intentionally being slow to respond to Priest or ignoring the need for help but she felt that as a Sahira who had broken her affinity, she wouldn't be needed anyway. She came upon the scene but remained in the shadows, watching as Priest tended to an unfamiliar she wolf. She heard it stated that the woman had been poisoned and watched as Priest went off to grab what was needed. How odd....for someome who claimed to be agony, he was going out of his way to tend to a stranger. Her gaze fell upon the she wolf and Immediately she felt the sympathy that was natural to her soften her features and she found comfort in the fact that here was a wolf who needed her. She sniffed the air and checked to see if Priest could be heard coming back before sliding up beside the ill stranger "take deep breaths and shut your eyes against the visions. Focus on what you know. The ground, my smell, the feeling of someone beside you. That way the visions hold less power" she spoke, her sweet voice hushed and soothing as she neglected to touch the stranger but remained close so that nothing would happen to her while Priest was away. RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Serem - July 30, 2019 Serems vision was still hazy however she saw the two females. The one who seemed to watch from a far and the one who stood close. The female had a soft voice that Serem felt inclined to heed. “Alright if you say so.” Serem wasn’t a medic but perhaps the other knew what she was talking about. Without any hesitation she shut her eyes and found the darkness of it and listened to the sounds around her focusing on the nature underneath her paws and almost suddenly the whispers ceased. Sorry if it’s short.
RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Priest - August 03, 2019 He was unaware of his cousin keeping with the stray girl, and should he have known, he would have tried harder to be more precise with his pickings. But at the moment, he snatched up the plants that he could, and hauled ass back to the strained girl. Coming upon the sight, he felt the strange presence of someone not there, simply by being watched, but the lack of sight and time to assess where it came from kept them from being revealed to him. Thus Hum remained the phantomess that she had been born to be. With nothing more than a pleased and relieved face to the cousin, he threw down the plants and gave them to the ailed fae with no more than an immediate nudge of his snout in her direction. "Chew and slowly swallow the juices- and please don't pass out during. You'll choke and drown." He said it factually, almost as though he anticipated her to be foolish enough to nigh swallow the whole plant in a single setting. But he wouldn't be too quick to judge her; she might just make it. RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Alula - August 16, 2019 As soon as she had calmed the woman down Priest came back and immediately she drifted to the background, watching him with a sheltered expression as he tended to a stranger. He tossed down a plant, something she identified as Yarrow and gave her directions coldly and she snorted a harsh laugh surprising herself. She wondered how he would react if this woman did in fact begin to choke because of his "help". Would he watch? He probably would. Would she watch? Did she want to see such a horrible thing? Images of this stranger choking on her own vomit appeared quite vividly in her mind and she cringed, gasping and turning away for a moment as the voices rose up dirty...nasty....spoiled...ruined. She looked to Priest helplessly and stepped backwards, turning away "I am not needed here" she said softly and then rushed off, passing by Hum who she barely gave more than a startled glance to.
RE: Voices in [M]y head keep screaming - Serem - August 16, 2019 Serem watched as the male came back with the herb and the female who had helped her fight the visions that came with the certain thing she was poisoned with leave. As he set it down she took the herb in her mouth and began to softly chew the plant and did what the male had instructed her to do. Her body was weak but she was a willful female who would rather not die today from a plant. It took a bit before she felt the early pangs of needing to vomit everything that was inside of her stomach and with a swift wretch, she began to puke up the poisoned meat that had tried killing her. Serem knew she would still be weak for a bit but started feeling a little better immediately after she had hurled up her lunch. Once she felt better and had a rest the female set out back home. |
