The waves crushed the ugly, my shores were pretty - Greyback - September 15, 2019

SETTING:
Weather: Overcast, few rays of light make their way past the dense clouds.
Cool with slight wind.
Midday

TERRITORY: Panther Park

TAGS: @Serenity
backdated to 9/13/19. Two days before Greyback arrives at Kaistleoki

The beast of the wolf stopped at the shallow pond with heaving sides. Scaling the Sunspire mountains up and down had taken it's toll on his aged body, and with ravenous vigor he took his fill. As much as the patriarch wanted to see his daughter and return to Easthollow, Greyback had to admit that he wasn't as young as he used to be. It pained him to think that way. He didn't want to be old.

Giving a drawn out snorf  he settled down at the waters edge, the tips of his paws catching the soft ripple of the stream to cool down his over-heated body. Winter was right around the edge, and while he would need his coat it seemed to be coming in a much faster rate than what he would of liked.

Ari stopped coming into an unfamiliar scent.. She raised a brow and looked around at the flatlands she arrived to. She let a soft huff through her nostrils as she looked around.. Curious. She eventually began to move forward again, exploring. She had her ears perked and her tail swaying lightly as she walked. She was quiet and focused around the things around her, Completely alert in this new unfmailiar area she was in, She didnt know what waited for her up ahead, But she would push on anyway. Knowing the risks.

Round ear twitching to the gentle sound of pawsteps, Greyback shot up immediately and turned, tailed raised and fur along his spine thick with attention. Panther Park, true to its name, was often inhabited by the large cats— Greyback knew that much.

The scents around the area were heavy and dense, giving way to numerous trails the felines took, and while the elder strayed far from them, he knew sooner or later he would bump into one here. Greyback just figured it wouldn't be so soon.

Bowing his head with a squinted gaze, the elder watched as the rustling of bushes grew louder— their figures swaying as the cat brushed up against them almost timidly. Figures. He knew the felines were slick, always trying to creep up on their prey. The scar that marred his shoulder was a dark reminder of such a thing. And he was not having it.

Letting a threatening growl sound past his barred fangs, the Eastholian darted forward with speed not akin to his size and barreled through the underbrush, crashing into the cat with ease.

Except the cat wasn't a cat.

It was a wolf.

Staring down at the loner with raised lips and slanted eyes, Greyback let his shadow be cast over her before dropping the aggressive display in favor for raising his brows.

Ari quietly walked along before she heard a low growl. She lowered her head and listened quietly. Before she knew it, She was tackled down by a large wolf, Largest she's ever seen. She looked up the wolf with her ears back, and tail tucked. She let out a deep huff from her nostrils. She looked back at the wolf with a bit of fear with the unexpected collision. She didnt expect to find anyone else here already as she only just arrived. She kept a submissive behaviour towards the larger wolf.
