it don't matter to me, because i'm ten feet, ten feet tall. - Raleska - September 22, 2019 maybe.... @Dacio ? slight PP to get things moving <3
Raleska had let @Derg and @Aningan know she was heading south -- she even informed @Erzulie, who accepted the news with tight-lipped reluctance. How stupid of the girl to go back, when the earth was still rife with turmoil -- yet Raleska felt in her heart it was her duty to look for @Rosalyn. She went alone. An ear was turned behind her every step of the way, and if any packmate dared disobey her, she would show them her teeth. They needed to stay home, to guard those that remained -- especially in light of the attack that had happened a fortnight ago. She had not forgotten. Her neck was crusted and scabbed over, and it hurt any time she lowered her head.. but she had to keep searching. She believed in her heart it was what Rosalyn would do for her -- and in some small way, Raleska refused to let go of that hope she kept holding onto.. that hope that Rosalyn had not left them of her own accord, and was somewhere just waiting to be found.. Resting along a small crest that flanked Ravensblood, Raleska was on high alert as she stood atop a fallen pine bough. From her vantage she could see much of the forest, but very little of the coast. Pulling back her head with a ginger wince, Raleska set forth a howl -- hoping against hope that Rosalyn would finally answer. RE: it don't matter to me, because i'm ten feet, ten feet tall. - Rosencrantz - September 24, 2019 The bloodied forest, where sap bleeds onto the trees and stains his pale coat a deep red - similar to that of blood but not quite the same as he could feel and see. It was stickier, lighter in colour than the deep crimson liquid that gave them all life. Still his face was darker than the sap as he skulked through the dark trees, careful not to touch the sap or trees that oozed it in order to keep his pelt relatively clean. A howl echoed through the woods, searching, beckoning for someone to come near - though it was not him they were searching for, he moved in to investigate none the less. He had nothing better to do after all. Ever since the coast, his life was left in relative peace - boring, but in a good way. It was quiet, and his heart beat to the same rhythm as it did once before, before she came along and stomped it to the ground. Slowly he approached the area from which the sound had called out from. A small-ish dark female stood in its place, though he kept quiet and observed, his eye wandered over her to try and figure out who she was and what she wanted. As silent as the snow itself, he waited as a chill ran over his features, a cold, distant expression offered toward her. RE: it don't matter to me, because i'm ten feet, ten feet tall. - Raleska - September 26, 2019 Her howl went unanswered— as was to be expected. Raleska was beginning to feel hope fitfully leave her; what if Rosalyn had been taken again by Drageda? The last time she had left, it had been so.. while Raleska wasn’t sure if Drageda had managed to regroup their forces, she was not going to underestimate them again. So consumed was she by her troubles, Raleska walked right by the man lurking in the shadowed eaves; it was not until a scent hit her that she realized she was not alone. Freezing, Raleska’s head shot up and her sharp eyes clawed through the brambles, landing at length on a frame so immense she was ashamed to have missed it Who are you?Raleska called into the dark, her gaze narrowed in accusation. And why do you creep? RE: it don't matter to me, because i'm ten feet, ten feet tall. - Rosencrantz - October 06, 2019 So sorry for the wait!! So much stuff to do, so little time /weepsintohomework
Ropsencrantz. He answered swiftly, simply, he had to reason to hide his name or be misterious. He already seemed to have unnerved her with his presence by just appearing - there was no need to be more unusual than he already was. Curious.Again, he was honest, stepping forward as so he wasn't covered in the leaves that caressed his frame. Who are you looking for?Perhaps he had seen whomever... though it didn't seem like a possibility, Rosenctrantz had been alone for so long he almost forgot how to speak. He couldn't remember the last time he had spent more than just a moment with someone else, exchanged more than just two to three words. But maybe, just maybe he had seen whomever she had been calling for. RE: it don't matter to me, because i'm ten feet, ten feet tall. - Raleska - October 16, 2019 wrapping up with permission <3
Rosencrantz seemed an elegant name; Raleska found herself stealing glances at the empyrean male from time to time — he reminded her distantly of Kaertok, and the memory of her gone packmate stung to the touch. She smiled the hurt away, explaining her reasons of being out in the wildwoods. She shared the descriptions of Rosalyn and Illidan, confiding even her fear they were gone to some other world far beyond her reach — and then after some searching, offered Rusalka’s protection to the male — and brought Rosencrantz to his new home. |
