One more try; Family sticks together - Sunny - October 08, 2019 @Minnow @Easy @Valiant @Steph @Meadow this is where they'll be. Walking along the ledge of the gorge pretty close to the meadow
He had been comforted by Meadow joining them and had set out, searching for Aeryn a while longer before admitting he was lost. It had torn him apart inside and he felt a failure but announced they were going to find Dawn. They searched for a while before walking along the edge of the gorge he began to smell traces of a pack. He paused and lowered his nose sniffing deeply and catching a whiff of a familiar sent that sent him running He called for everyone to follow, tail up and wagging as he caught more and more of her scent. It was then he realised she had joined a pack and he froze, tail lowering as he considered her privacy. Maybe she wouldn't want to try Morningside again after everything. He hesitated and cleared his throat, feeling that it was wrong not to at least offer. Taking a breath he howled for @Dawn his voice shaking nervously and falling silent as he turned to look at his family, giving a optimistic smile. RE: One more try; Family sticks together - Easy - October 08, 2019 The travelling had not been difficult for Easy, as accustomed to movement as she was. Even as a child, she'd been hard pressed to stay in one place, and she was only just beginning to slow down now that she'd reached two years of age. Lately, she'd begun to think that it would be nice to stick to one place and one people -- especially if those people were hers. For now, however, there was nothing to do but roam. The world was shifting around her, and Easy was concerned that they might need to travel quite a bit further away than they'd thought in order to find a good place to settle. Her mind had gone instantly to the plateau where her family had been so happy together -- but even in these parts, there seemed to be looming danger. She stood guard over the children, wondering how Dawn might be doing after their last, tumultuous encounter. |
