He couldn't stay. Try as he might. The land was unsafe, he had lost track of Thresher, the coast could not be trusted. It was not meant to be. Perhaps she had sought somewhere even further away. He couldn't be sure but instinct told him to leave and find safer homes. So off he went, cutting through the lands to the south past places he might have once haunted. He would depart Teekons with a shred of hope left in his heart that the world might be okay elsewhere.
