I don't care what the neighbors say - Abaddon - December 25, 2019

-4C°, currently it is a light snow and set during the night. Located in Rising Sun Valley, fox's glade | ooc notes: he might be stalking around rising sun valley more! open to anyone nearby to come and meet the vampire!

Foxes. He heard this place was full of them, the land was named after their presence after all - but perhaps the famine has affected them too. There were weak fox trails here and there, some old and others were just empty dens. Nothing of interest to him, nothing for him to drain or hunt. Just another empty land of stale promises. He hadn't even seen a wolf for a while now - perhaps they were all hiding with their pack borders, even the loners were wise enough to find a home instead of wandering around and pressing their luck.

It seemed only Abaddon was around, one of the few who still held no loyalty to a pack - through the stench of the Nightwalkers still clung loosely to his pelt. His father's wretched smell was hard to wash off, but in due time it too will fade so long as he doesn't spend too much time within their borders again.

With a sigh he stood, letting out a plume of white smog lift from his muzzle and into the heavens as he observed the night sky between the nude tree branches from below. Someone had to be around somewhere... he could really go for a drink...

RE: I don't care what the neighbors say - Blondine - December 26, 2019

blondine's "power nap" had ended abruptly, having been rudely interrupted by a pair of nosy foxes. it was about time she wake up anyway, as was told by the setting sun. the huntress yawned and stretched out her limbs before deciding to head north.

well, kinda north. on the way, she stopped by a glade drenched in fox's musk. the stench burned her nostrils and would have turned her away were it not for the grudge she carried. gettin' in the way of a good nap, she muttered, that's what they do, damn vermin.

blondine might have noticed the male were she not so focused on her hunt. rather, she wandered right by him with her snout stuck to the ground.

Oh but something much more interesting had come by her than a pesky little good for nothing fox. An autumn coloured female came strutting by, her nose in the dirt hunting for something without even noticing him. Well, it was a little insulting, to say the least - Abaddon truly thought that he was a charming fellow, with haunting good looks that could stick to you like gum on the underside of a paw.

With a quirk of his brow he watched her walk by, a silent observer to her own little life. Should he disturb her? Or rather walk silently behind and continue on his little survey. If he did the latter and got caught, she would be gone forever, a chance at something would be gone like a fart in the wind. What would that be? Who knows, but she seemed like a possible plaything he could use. Maybe it was something that could be entertaining for the next few months? To get him officially away from daddy's little gathering of the 'gladiators'.

Trotting up to her side, he steps into 'view' of what he didn't notice to be the side lacking an eye until his mouth had already sang the following words; You seem pretty focused on whatever is on the other end of that trail.

the huntress looked up to face the ghoulish beast. he was draped in white with black smeared haphazardly around an unsettling vermillion gaze. blondine thought that he was quite ugly and would have said so, had she not known better. she figured that she wasn't in a place to judge, considering her own unattractive appearance.

yeah, i was, she sighed, i can get back to it. blondine sucked her teeth, silently swearing to dispatch the foxes that'd disturbed her nap. what're you doin' in the foxlands? ain't quite the ideal resting place, i'd think. the moon was high above them; both should have been at home, wherever home was, preparing to settle down.
