aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - RIP Dandelion - December 28, 2019

i used joining but it's a capture/captive? thread. tagging @Vengeance and uhm, anyone else who wants to join! ehehe, dandelion be like:

the light snow of the mid-morning is patchy at best, and when too much of it collects on the wispy guard hairs he shakes them loose as he follows the directions the pale, red-blue eyed man had left him with. no strings attached. gods it sounded so very ...good. though there had been a very brief period of wariness it had waned rather quick as temptation seized hold of him.

he pauses as he draws nearer, sniffing the borders — they are heavily marked; but that to be expected. the travel worn balladeer saunters into the marked borders, replaying the enrapturing man's words in his head. surely a pack that was kind and generous to weary travelers — and how weary he was! — would understand if he just ...helped himself to a cache. he'd replace what he took, he thinks, shrugging aside the fact that he was by no means a superb hunter.

mis-matched eyes focus upon his chosen path, ears cupped forth alert for the approach of any as he mentally goes over the script he's crafted in his head.

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - Chip - December 28, 2019

Chip was meandering about the SPOOKY FOREST. The company here wasn't exactly titillating, but they tolerated her presence, which was enough for her not to wander off right away. She sniffed the air, looking for something interesting to spice up the day, when she caught scent of somebody she didn't know. Cool, maybe a new friend!

He was digging into a cache, and Chip took it for granted that he was totally allowed to do that. Heck, that had been her first order of business when she'd arrived. Ahoy! she shouted, prancing up to him. You new here? I'm Chipmunk! Or just Chip for short.

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - Alison - December 28, 2019

The General had been lingering along the borders, now returning for a meal to feed herself and replenish some energy from the trip when she came across two faces. Both were new to her, but only one reeked of the wolves that took refuge in these woods. The firey woman stalked forwards, her jowls rising to flash her fangs as she approached the male digging through their cache

What the hell do you think you're doing? Should he for some reason be a recruit, it was awfully selfish to instantly go to the cache of a pack you barely associated with, but the fact that not even Vengeance's rank scent seemed to hang on the man's pelt was offputting to her. Cold eyes shifted to the one called...Chip with an accusing glare. Do you always let strangers dig up pack food?

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - Hela - December 28, 2019

hela required very little prompting. she'd been trailing the general on her own patrol, and curiousity had prompted her to hasten her steps when alison's scent veered away to follow after a stranger's. the girl arrives a few moments after the woman, taking in the scene and realizing rapidly that the stranger certainly was not receiving enough aggression. stiff-legged, ears slicked against her crown, she lunged toward the stranger. lips curled as she snapped at a hind limb, remembering the success she'd had with orochi and hoping to reenact it here. should she be successful, she would aim to grip to limb and shake it as she would some stubborn prey.

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - RIP Dandelion - December 29, 2019

since a lot's happening i'm going to go ahead and post. i rolled for severity of @Hela's attack. its not broken but there are severe wounds ( that will scar b/c scarring is sexy, eheh ).

it is not long before someone comes upon him, calling out to him. his head lifts from the cache to see the woman prance up to him. uhm, uh — dandelion begins to answer her only to be broken off ( which was good because how did one say 'soon' without sounding arrogant? ) by another female approaching him with bared fangs. confusion settles in dandelion's brow because the aggression was not something the phantom man had told him about. clearly, dandelion thinks, this is all some sort of misunderstanding. no see i was told that you are kind and generous towards weary travelers ...such as myself, him, he. a weary traveler.

a weary traveler that with a flurry of a not-even yearling lunging at him and tearing into his hind limb. a sharp whine of pain leaves the balladeer as her fangs sink deep and he a twist. his injured leg gives out on him and a buzzing rings in his ears as he smells the blood. his own blood. clearly, someone was lying and he fears that he's fallen prey to a trap. damn him and his inability to resist charming wolves.

ok, ok. he relents, fighting against the cottony, lightheadness he feels. i'm — i'll ...just please don't kill me. although, with the injury of his hind leg he doesn't think he stands much of a chance tossed back into the wilds anyway.

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - Chip - December 29, 2019

In classic Chip fashion, the girl shrugged, flattening her ears. How was she supposed to know this was an intruder, anyway? It wasn't like there was a guide to all the wolves who were and weren't allowed to be here, right? Maybe she'd missed that day in class. Whatever the case, she didn't want to get involved. Besides, somebody was already swooping in and attacking the poor dude, and Chip really couldn't stomach anything like that.

She high-tailed it out of there, happy to be free of that situation.

Chip out!

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - Alison - December 29, 2019

Alice isn't aiming for damage yet just roughly pinning so I hope what I wrote is ok! I made it dodgeable still if not!

To one question she was answered, but the other was ignored. As the cheery wolf ran off a growl rose in the General's throat. Who the hell is inviting pansies to join? Her best bet was Black Hat. The man was always slinking around trying to gain a minion following. She would be speaking to Vengeance on the subject later. Cold eyes turned back to the intruder who was now crying as one of the whelps tore into his leg.

Originally she would have had Chip do the dirty work while she gave a small monologue of just how exactly this is going to go, but it looked like she was forced to take matters into her own hands. Moving forward, Alison would aim her fangs for the male's throat. If she managed to get a hold she would shove him to the ground, a paw moving to hold his head down. For now, she would not stop the pup as the damage she dealt would serve as a nice reminder not to trust strangers.

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - Hela - January 01, 2020

blood and torn flesh; grim satisfaction spreads, and even as Alison moves to pin the man, she does not relent her grip. she remains, hunkered low and attentive to the general, as she tightens her jaws around the limb, ensuring soundly the male has no chance of escape. the pit seems the natural end to this situation, no matter how ineffective she sees it, but she knows well enough to defer to the leader on matters such as this one.

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - RIP Dandelion - January 02, 2020

the first wolf to intercept him — the only normal one — left and dandelion sputters after her something akin to please don't leave me but it doesn't actually come out as words. anyway, it's replaced by a frightened wheeze of breath as the woman who stayed's teeth grasp his throat. there'd been no chance for him to dodge; the damage done to his hind leg by the whelp leaves him with no chance of doing much of anything.

no, no, no, no! he wheezes as his face is forced down into the dirt and held there by a paw. this wasn't what he'd been promised. between his face being smashed into the dirt and the pain radiating white hot in his hind leg as the girl refuses to relinquish her hold; his vision begins to spot and he takes a ragged, uneven breath.

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - Alison - January 03, 2020

For a moment Alice just watched, squinting at the man as his face contorted with the pain that coursed through him. Hela. Release him, escorting him to the Pit will be easier if he is conscious to move himself. She wasn't worried about him running, she was fast and with that leg, the fool was going nowhere.

RE: aep cor me lode deith ess'viell - Hela - January 03, 2020

the general issues a command, and after a moment she obeys. withdrawing, she stretches her jaws, closing them with a snap before passing her tongue over her lips. gaze turns to the general before moving to come up alongside she trespasser, not looking forward to another stranger rotting in the pit for however long, nothing but a drain on resources. but as long as she is below the woman, she will obey. she moves to stand at the male's other side, instead, bristling still and waiting to escort him whenever the general gives the command. when she does, the pair move him to the pit, where they go their separate ways - Hela hanging around some time before leaving to ensure he doesn't try to make a run for it.
