Dragomir had grown so much, and flourished, upon Moonspear. She could scarcely remember a day without him in it; Hydra felt her children could learn much from him and his work ethic, and hoped that as they came along in their own ages they would contribute as he did. Much had changed for Hydra; after speaking with Jarilo, she considered Dragomir now as the sole contender for the beginnings of making dream reality. She wondered if it would be a desire of his, and hoped that it might be. Though he came not from her womb, Hydra found he brought her both pride and joy as much as her own children did.

Blessedly Isilme had returned; it was a fortuituous thing, and Hydra hoped that as she entered into the adult ranks alongside her brother that she would learn more of her. She hoped the pale-furred girl would stand with her brother and strengthen him as only a sister could, and selfishly Hydra desired to spend more time with her too in the days to come. She felt cheated that hunger had claimed Isilme and stolen the young one from her as a girl, and angry that there was nothing she or anyone else could have done for it. Her absence had caused Hydra to want to set her teeth to something, but there was nothing to do for it given the reasoning... no new enemy, only the same old ancient one that was hunger. At the very least things seemed to be changing for the better; with them, Isilme could be fed at least.

When the sun rose, Hydra took to one of the stones at the edges near the mountaintop and sang of her pride; two cubs had survived into young adulthood, and she was proud for them. All nearby would know of this occassion, though no names were mentioned in the song; our cubs have entered the adult ranks, and we are stronger for it!

RE: when the sun rises - Moriko - January 24, 2020

Unknown to the pack, Moriko heard the howl and couldn't help but do a little dance, bouncing on her paws happily (an excitable habit of hers)

Wow! What a feat! She was also ecstatic over the fact that they were able to be observed in their aging process. She, had never got to grow up infront of a pack really- let alone her mother or father or even her siblings. So if she was there to bear witness to such a wonderful event then hell- she was gonna celebrate as well. After all it was basically a family event- as the pack was her family.

She did her little happy dance before tilting her head up, letting out a joyous howl in response. The buds of our pack have bloomed into mighty flowers! Yes! Together our roots grow stronger!

Moriko was quite happy and proud as well, to say the least.

RE: when the sun rises - Nikai - January 27, 2020

Nikai knew little of Dragomir or Isilme, other than that they existed. He had not yet met them one on one and so he knew little more about them than their names, as he heard Hydra's call. Ears perked up attentively and as he heard her song, Nikai joined in and tipped his nose upwards to join in a congratulatory song for the two wolves who had joined the adult ranks that day.

RE: when the sun rises - Lyra - February 01, 2020

As the sun rose so too did a song, a joyous call from Hydra announcing the rising through the ranks of two of Moonspear's pups. Dragomir and Isilmë, no doubt. Lyra knew they had grown and were right on the cusp of adulthood now, closer to it than Hydra's own cubs, at least. However, she would only welcome Dragomir into the adult ranks, for he had proven himself worthy enough of such an honour. His skills had improved admirably and there was no doubt their Queen was impressed with him.

But for all the hope Hydra also held for Andraste's pale daughter, Lyra remained wary still. She reminded her too much of her mother, her disappearance after they had taken her and her brother in spurring no confidence in the judgemental Ostrega. Only time — and Isilmë's actions — would tell if her opinion of this would change.

Still, the ascension was something to be celebrated, and Lyra couldn't help but tip back her own head as others' voices rose to join the howl. She sung her praises with a sincere welcome into adulthood for Dragomir, while leaving little in the way for his sister.
