the beast & the harlot - Aiolos - January 26, 2020 Forward dated 1-27-20. Late night. For @Andraste. It had been a week and Aiolos returned. He wondered how many, if any, had noticed the fiery wolf's absence other then Kalika herself. After all, it was breeding season and surely the women of the Vale were occupied with their selected consorts. As he slipped through the mountain barriers of his yet still home, the scent of the new lead male thick upon them. It was a change which Aiolos was not comfortable with, if only for his past experiences and the fact that for years now, he had only saw a female as worthy to take command from. Aiolos knew he would need to reach out to Kalika as soon as possible and so headed for his little Broken Falls haven where she had been staying with him. Of course, he would miss the women of the Vale very much so. They were the first women to look at Aiolos with equality, perhaps even more in some... Unlike the women in his birth pack who looked to him with pity and the sirens that looked with spite and judgement. @Gracious was so very kind and considerate. @Tundra filled with soft beauty and passion. And of course his Lead, @Andraste, who had shown him compassion and respect from the very beginning of their meeting. He would need to speak with her before leaving as he had no intention of just disappearing on the woman whom had so kindly taken him in. When he reached the Broken Falls, it was silent. As silent at the night. And Kalika's scent, faded, as though she had not been here for days. He did not panic, not yet, even if he was concerned. There was a good chance she was beyond the mountains, collecting members for their future ranks. So instead pursuing her he settled at the pool of water and gathering his thoughts on what was to come. |
