Break Free - RIP Tzila - January 27, 2020 For @Goshawk. It is currently late afternoon. Snowing.
After her stop in the darkened forest, so similar to the one she resided in, Tzila felt even less inclined to turn around and head home. She was relishing her newfound sense of freedom, yet confident in that she had the safety net of a pack to return to. As...fractured as it was. Hela seemed lax in her leadership from what she had first gathered of her, at that meeting. The youngster had little time spent with Tzila, an adult, but both had been apart of the Nightwalkers long enough that the self-appointed Warlord should know the Shadow Queen wouldn't just up and leave without notice. Or so that was what Tzila led her and nearly every other member to believe. If they proved useless to her, if she saw no more room for opportunity, then she would gladly move on. This extended little outing away from the pack was no such case. With the sense of change still clinging heavily in the air, the dark woman was merely stretching her legs. Clearing her mind. Revisiting the days of her not so distant past. Besides, with some of the Nightwalker females in heat or approaching their season, she didn't need to put up with their hormones. Best to distance herself before her aggression got the better of her and she did something that could not be undone. Before her now, in the dimming light of the late day, was the path leading up towards a great mountain, its face boasting a speckled appearance. The trail she was closest to was littered with charred, fallen trees, scattered haphazardly like a child’s toys. As she drifted among the rubble, she eyed them with a contemplative narrowing of her eyes. Oh how she would love to know the history behind such destruction here. But this is not what drew her to this place. A winged silhouette circled far above, eliciting a piercing cry of defiance. In turn she lifted her head up, following the eagles’ movements with a quiet admiration in her eyes. After this little pause, she climbed higher again, to join them. |
