running in place - Sarthorn - January 29, 2020

For @Nimueh, but AW!

Sarthorn left @Nesini’s side briefly with the call of food. Typically, the duo hunt together, but on occasions like this he is keen to scavenge what the ocean brings them ashore. Nesini is close regardless, and he knows she would come towards him if need be.
He traverses over the rocky incline, checking the cracks for any potential creature stuck within.

The smell of salt water filled her nostrils and the seagulls voices flowed through the air to her ears. The sand underneath her paws was a nice change in texture as she listened to the wind.

Luck is on his side again today, as a sponge-y critter is trapped within. He ducks his head, jaw suddenly snapping alive fiercely as he snatches it from it’s prison. Now it is a snack for him to enjoy. He lifts his head, slipping away from the rocks and crevices with his prize to be eaten on the beach.
It is there he spots another wolf; a stranger.

Her head turns to look at the wolf whom was eating one of the sea creatures and she released a low chuff when their eyes met with each other. "Good day it is." She greeted.

Sarthorn is bemused, yet pleased by the polite greeting—manners are respectable. With his own jaws filled, the salt-and-pepper male leans down to drop his snack in the sand. It wiggles at his feet in defiance.
Indeed, he hums, Here to hunt as well?

She gave a small smile and shook her head. "I don't believe I'd have very much luck in that sort of hunting." The Druid knew how to hunt fish yes but she wasn't very good at it.

After a short conversation with the male; the wolf departed and went on her way; to what she had no clue.
