dont fall - Aerasha - February 01, 2020 Aerasha was idling by Duskfire Glacier, feeling too comfort now belonging to a group once more. Her lazy antics continued again, but not today! She ventured farther, a bit near the coast that she has never visited, but alas, a ravine has stopped the Princess. She looked down from the taiga and saw the deep river that flowed from the bottom.
"Woaaah, hiiiigh.~" Below seemed a few bits of land, however how would one get down? Was there a secret path, she wondered? Ohhh, how cool it'd be to lay below and look up, to see wolves staring down in interest. However even then it was hard to see, if there was anyone down there. RE: dont fall - Yami - February 06, 2020 Yami had learned of her new packmates from Kiwi, but she hadn't spent too much time with them. When she'd set out that day from the Peak, it hadn't been with any intention to remedy that fact. She honestly didn't care much about her packmates outside of Kiwi. The way her leader had painted that hadn't exactly been in the greatest light either, so she didn't have much desire to get to know them. Only some nagging feeling that she probably should because it was probably the right thing to do. Which is to say, she didn't mean to stumble upon Aerasha when she came to hunt in the ravine. But, stumble she did. She came upon the girl just in time to hear the light, airy Woaaah, hiiiigh that whispered from her lips. She paused to frown at her back for a moment before deciding to make her presence known by clearing her throat. She settled her friendly mask upon her features then and prepared to play nice with her packmate, even though she knew already she was going to be sooo annoyed with her. RE: dont fall - Aerasha - February 06, 2020 If she jumped, would Aerasha make it..? It was a tempting offer as the abyss lured her to it's depth below as she thought on the movement. Perhaps a bridge across, a fallen tree, but alas! She was not God, only a Princess who has fallen to no one. It'd be super interesting though if someone could.. Could this wolf do the impossible?
She turned around to face the one who smelled of her own pledged group, and flashed a bright smile of sweetness, "Oh heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey.~" Her prolonged greeting, even more so then usual, called out as she sashayed herself closer to the other, "it's nicceee, to meet youuu," she was already friendly enough despite not knowing who she was. She was friends with all after all, "I'm Aerasha.~" RE: dont fall - Yami - February 08, 2020 Yami fought the urge to flatten her ears so as not to hear the odd, airy, slow-motion responses she received. She figured that would be rude, and she was trying to play nice. She tried to focus her attention on something else and found her attention caught on the fact that Aerasha was a rather pretty wolf with those shades of rosy cream embracing a graceful frame. Yami's gaze lingered for a moment before she looked back at those eyes--also lovely--and refocused on the conversation. "I'm Yami," she replied, smiling, "I'm Kiwi's second. Been meaning to come say hi." She shrugged lightly, though she wasn't sure just why that particular gesture seemed fitting to make at the time. RE: dont fall - Aerasha - February 10, 2020 Aerasha was smiling like a sweetened devil as the other watched her very curves, but she did not mind. She knew how pretty she was, and held no shame within her ego, "Niiiceee, to meet you.~" She happily replied.
"Ohhh, second?" the Princess tilted her head, "what doesss, that mean?" RE: dont fall - Yami - February 13, 2020 Yami supressed a frown at the quetion Aerasha asked. She really didn't know what a second one? Had she never been part of a pack before? Perhaps the terminology had just confused her. Moonspear hadn't had a position they'd referred to as a second. They'd had a beta. Hadn't Kiwi's pack called it a regent? "Second-in-command," Yami said, attempting to clarify, "The beta or whatever. Basically it means when Kiwi's not around, I run the show." There was a notable stroke of pride in her tone before it turned to a question. "They not have a position like that in... whatever pack you came from?" ~ - Aerasha - February 13, 2020 "Oohhhhhhhhh," she understood, "ohh, a bunch of names.. Tooooo many to remember..~" She remembered there was quite a few at her fathers side, the generals, the advisors, the priest, the butler, the prince- all would call themselves second in command. He was a King, unlike the puppet her brother became. Too bad they removed her as a chess piece, but she didn't mind, and let them continue the game. She continues to be the Princess.~
"Whooo, else is a big rank?" Aerasha didn't know the general greek structure too well or how other packs functioned, only vaguely by whisper. She assumed there was more 'second-hand' wolves and didn't think much about Yami, who was one of many as the 'right-hand man.' RE: dont fall - Yami - February 28, 2020 Aerasha's comment was pure nonsense to Yami, though she went ahead and just let that go. Kiwi had warned her. She took a moment to wonder why exactly her friend was bothering with this one. Weren't they all supposed to be warriors? She knew Kiwi didn't care about the Cliffs anymore, so there was no battle with their neighbors imminent, but still. This girl was not what Yami would've expected Kiwi to have accepted into her pack. So maybe there was another reason Kiwi had taken her in... "Only me," Yami said, her tone suddenly stiff, "And Kiwi, of course. But I'm the only one she's trusted with a higher rank." She looked again at Aerasha, judging her beauty and her curves in a different light now. Kiwi didn't like her, did she? "We've been close for a long time now," she added, not totally sure what that comment was even meant to do. RE: dont fall - Aerasha - February 28, 2020 Aerasha was a warrior, but one of love and comfort. She may not have the build or the moves, but the girl was good with her words and ways to get out of the worst situation. She may have her use, maybe.. Probably not, as the whole flowery aura continued despite Yami not being too pleased with her- much like how Kiwi was.
"Ohhh so.. Daattting?~" Aerasha tilted her head innocently, but she held a rather devilish smile while asking the other. When one emphasized on closeness, usually she felt they were more then just best buddies. Ooohhh how charming it would be if the two were together! She wondered how their dynamic would be together, both super serious.. Two super serious wolves leaves the fun ones to everyone else.~ RE: dont fall - Yami - February 29, 2020 In spite of her attempts at subtly laying claim to Kiwi, the question Aerasha asked in response threw her completely. Her jaw dropped as her eyes widened. She sputtered momentarily, tripping over the first syllables of several different words before shaking her head and huffing a laugh. "What're you.. No, no, of course not," Yami insisted, shaking her head as heat warmed her cheeks, "We're friends is all. Just.. good friends." She swallowed heavily, wondering if Aerasha would drop the topic or if she'd pursue it. Yami knew that if roles were reversed, she would've seen right through the show she'd just put on. RE: dont fall - Aerasha - February 29, 2020 "Whaaaat," Aerasha chuckled, showing very clearly she didn't buy it. Some may call her a fool, but she had a devilish mind and knew to pick up certain bits from others. Not to mention they were too obvious anyone wouldn't believe her, "don't need to lieeee.~"
"it's okaaaay. love is freee.~" even though she could see the other lied through her teeth, the Princess didn't think there was a reason to. They were both prime members, nothing holding back besides pitiful fear.. Oh how it'd be so easy if they did how Aerasha was like, carefree and a go-getter, nothing to hold back. Live life to the fullest.~ RE: dont fall - Yami - March 07, 2020 Yami wasn't surprised that her packmate saw through her farce, though she wasn't pleased by it. If she was being honest with herself, there was... something... there, something she didn't understand. Something that had driven her to decide not to follow Kiwi when she'd decided to return to the Wilds. The very same something that had lead Yami to follow her anyway when eventually, she couldn't deny it was what she wanted. Something she'd never had anyone to talk to about it before... She peered at Aerasha thoughtfully. The woman was an unknown. A weird unknown, but something about her seemed trustworthy. Or, maybe Yami was just desperate to figure this out finally. Either way, she bit her lip and looked away. "Is it though?" she murmured, instantly feeling embarassed and wishing she hadn't said anything, "It's not.. I mean... This isn't how you're supposed to feel about.. friends. And how do I even know it's that anyway? Maybe I've just never had such a great friend before and it's not something more, it's just this is what it feels like to actually have someone you trust and that makes you feel like... like you belong." She chanced a nervous glance at Aerasha, waiting to hear what the other woman had to say on the subject. Maybe she really was just reading into things. She hoped she was. Didn't she? RE: dont fall - Aerasha - March 07, 2020 "Feelings evolve, you knoooow?~" Aerasha smiled happily at this development. She was lucky to join this pack to witness such a romance, and one conflicted such as Yami. However, she had to say there was no experience to claim herself, only simple observing to advice the other. She saw her vassals start as friends, but it always blossomed into something more. Isn't that how all love starts? Friends to an interest, and interest to a lover, and a lover to a wife.
"If you are questioning it.. Doesn't it meaaaaan, you feel more?" Not to mention how the other went on how she would know. The Princess thought if it was even slightly considered, then wasn't it true? How foolish this one was! But perhaps many were blind to love- and she was thankful to avoid it. Watching is more fun then experiencing, she so thought. "Truuust yourseeelffff.~" RE: dont fall - Yami - March 19, 2020 Yami was quiet as the ethereal woman lilted answers at her. At least, they seemed like answers, even if she wasn't quite ready to follow where they would lead. After all, the same gender thing aside--She still had no idea how Kiwi felt. The idea of putting herself out there and being rejected... That was simply unbearable. She peered thoughtfully at Aerasha then, suddenly wanting to understand something about the woman. But where to even begin? The only question that came to mind was What are you? which seemed like it wasn't the right approach. "What are you?" she asked anyway when after about five seconds of deliberation didn't yield her any better options. Yami wasn't too surprised when the girl merely smiled one of her mysterious smiles and sauntered away. It seemed perfectly reasonable, given when she'd come to understand about her. This one was an enigma, and though Yami still couldn't understand why on earth Kiwi of all wolves would've allowed her to join the ranks, she found a way to understand herself why it was good they had her. She smiled her own smile that turned quickly into a frown of confusion before heading off herself in the opposite direction. There was much to think about. |
