I’m so tired of my homeland - Mal - February 03, 2020 The sun was setting, and Mal had left to go out and see if he could find whoever it was that @Zephyr had run into -- for a few reasons, some of them selfish, some not so much. Selfish reasons were probably ruling the moment, but considering the horizon was clear and the tracks through the snow were starting to fill and smooth to nothing, it didn't seem he'd be finding her. Kind of unfortunate, but he'd live and not be too disappointed in the end. If that chick left and took her alluring scent with her, then she wouldn't cause any more problems around his pack. So, he broke from the fading trail, taking a wide arc to turn back towards the forest, unhurried. Clear his head, figure out the future. Blah blah, but last time he tried to do that, he got interrupted. Out here there might be less of a chance. Or not. Let's be real, it's Mal. He was a magnet for that kind of thing, and the decent walk home left an opportunity. RE: I’m so tired of my homeland - Isilmë - February 04, 2020 it's the fourth time she encountered him. it'd be hard to forget his face, or his markings, for the matter. the silver crests a rise just as he moves to loop back toward the wood. auds press forward, trying to remember just how angry at him she should be. he had lost his sister, she knew, but that didn't make up for being a little bitch last time they'd met. after a moment, she settles on a sharp "hey!" might as well determine what he's doing, skulking around out here, potentially try for the fight she'd missed out on last time. RE: I’m so tired of my homeland - Mal - February 04, 2020 It was certainly good now that he hadn't gone and found that chick. One thing that may or may not end up foiling her plans was that in the latest gap between meets, Mal had done quite a bit of growing up -- mentally at least. He wasn't a scruffy adolescent any more, but a reasonably respectable adult, even if he sometimes made some pretty stupid choices. But didn't everyone? He hadn't seen her initially appear, and it took him a second or two to figure out who it was -- the good thing was that a further scan of the horizon showed no other Moonspear people unless they were hiding in a damn hole. Ha, the good thing about winter and open fields! Would she be as much of a twerp if she was solo? Eh. It's Moonspear, probably. Mal, on the other hand, went the other metaphorical direction. He'd be cheery. So stopped, he put on his best smile, and called back with a catlike flick of his tail, Oh, hello. Wandering far from home again, I see?Would that frustrate the snot out of her? That might be hilarious. That or her acting like a normal goddamn person would be acceptable. |
