12 am - Pigeon - February 19, 2020 There was little to look at on these mountains. Little but not nothing. Clear skies offered a perfect view of the stars. Knowing this, many creatures would still believe this place was bare. They'd say stars are useless things that burned billions of miles away. You cannot touch them and therfore they are not worth your time. Restless souls like Pigeon would disagree. Stargazing was a beautiful thing. It allowed you to forget your troubles on earth and fly threw the skies. It's a trip he desperately needed right now. The yearling sat along the edge of the mountain and stared up at the heavens. RE: 12 am - Fionn - February 19, 2020 He had departed the girls for now. As much as it pained him to leave Deidra, he ought to get the stuff that he needed- without being under the scrutinizing gaze of Aoibh. He had slipped away from the pair for now, though they were not far off. He'd scavenged the grasses and found it, taken a big fat dose and let it kick in as he made his way up the mountain. He was grateful for the poppy seeds as he climbed the mountain, which slowly turned from a hunk of grey rock into something royal purple, that seemed to go on and on into the sky. A stairway to heaven! He followed it eagerly, eyes half-lidded with comfortable contentment. The stars became little rabbit faces that grinned at him with jolly light. He stumbled to the peak to find a smudge of warm browns who looked up into the cotton candy sky. It smelled like a wolf, and so he approached hesitantly. You... lookin' at something...?He questioned vaguely, words slurred, smile gentle. RE: 12 am - Pigeon - February 19, 2020 He wasn't expecting anyone to be interested enough to make their way up here, so of course all of his attention was turned to the incoming idiot. He didn't seem to be focused on anything, which kinda freaked him out. Dude looked like he could fall at any moment. Pigeon was tempted to get up and yank him away from the edge. It wasn't because he cared about the stranger, he just didn't want to see anyone die in front of him again. The sky,he said as he stood up. You wanna sit down dude? You seem out of it. |
