She's a gun - RIP Earp - February 24, 2020 Not quite HW, but for @Moonshadow
His soul-bird roosted along here. Their nests littered the nooks and crannies on the mountainside here. He moved quickly, knowing they didn't have the same respect for him as he did them. He quickly forged the river where it seemed shallowest, the rocks beneath him slipping and slick with aquatic flora. Winter was the worst time of year, but it had to be done. Down the mountain was a ravine, so up he went and it went on for miles and he was fed up with river crossing.
A rock he was particularly relying on to briefly support his weight decided to nope out from under him, and Earp being a little clunky int he water went tumbling on his side with the help of the current, being swept over a few times for extra measure, before he regained control and dragged himself to the other side. Why couldn't this river freeze like the rest? He grumbled, shaking water from his fur. ItĀ froze spiking out, making him look very much like a porcupine. He needed shelter. Moving off, he looked for it, licking the fur that he could quickly reach to flatten it. RE: She's a gun - Moonshadow - February 28, 2020 Spring was coming and she was a bit sad cause there will be a babies everywhere soon and she doesn't have hers with her but she pushes those thoughts aside. She was starving she had her eyes set on a rabbit bit noise in the distance scared it off and she turned towards the noise and it was a wolf. RE: She's a gun - RIP Earp - March 01, 2020 He moped on, trying to invigourate some warmth into his muscles. His head hung low in shame as wind whipped his fur into icy spikes. He could feel eyes trained on him, causing his attention to drift to that one watcher, expecting it to be his pale counterpart.
But no. A woman of the same pelt of his, but with such different eyes, was watching him. Seemingly slightly miffed, but what could he do about it? He licked his lips, lifting his head and pausing. His tail swayed softly, wondering if he should approach or not. Could he find himself a pack? RE: She's a gun - Moonshadow - March 03, 2020 The stranger did not seem hostile but only time would tell if that were true and she flicked her tail in greeting. "Hello, are you alright? I saw you cross the river, I'd be careful you could get hypothermia. " her nurturing nature got the better of her and she walked a little closure. |
