embraced by moonlight - Daiyu - February 24, 2020

frost clung to the hardy petals of lavender, the moonlight glittered off the untouched snow. it was the perfect place, with an open dark sky that sparkles with stars through the thin clouds that seemed to unleash small flurries of snowflakes. it even had a perfect view of the ocean, the sound of the waves.

in this perfect setting the light of the moon seemed to make the little dancer's fur glow an unnatural shade of blue, the ivory flakes acting like crystals as she began to dance. first she moved to the right before shifting her hips in the opposite direction, her tail swayed to accent her movements.

RE: embraced by moonlight - Orochi - February 26, 2020

After a day's worth of running along the beach, all Orochi wanted to do was collapse and drift off into sleep. He mustn't give into the urge; last time he did that he had woken up with an ache worse than normal. There was no way he was going through that again, so he decided to go on a quick walk.

An unfamilar smell—one that smells much nicer than the salt— beckons him onward. Soon he spots a woman. Her movements synced with the gentle waves. Why are you doing that? he called when he was within earshot.

she lost herself in her movements, she let her thoughts, worries, pain fall away. there was only this, the soft sound of waves, the swaying melody of frost covered lavender, her steps. she gave herself over to the feeling that she loved, the only police she had when she was enslaved.

but then came a voice, her thoughts came back to her as she processes the question ask led from behind her. she had not stopped her movements, creating a twirl as she moved to face him. only then did the movement stop, her training came to her then. she gave a sad but gentle smile as she kept her tail low to show submission. he had asked her a question so she must answer it.

"this one was trained to dance for the enjoyment of others but this one still enjoys it even if it is no longer required," she stayed simply

Has anyone ever told you you talk weird? He grinned mischievously. This girl reminded him a lot of his timid brother, who was always a source of his bullying. The grin broadens as he thought of him. Would she make just as good a punching bag?

You don't say this one, you say your name. Don't you have a name?

she amost laughted at his irritation on the way she spoke, this is why she was a woman of few words. speakin had always been a sore spot fo her, something she was beat for doing wrong. she was not allowed to use self-possesive terms when referring to herself, things like "I" and "me" were things she was never allowed to utter. she was bit, beaten, abused for even trying

"yes but enough beatings has left this one from being able to say otherwise.," she used a sarcastic tone but knew better than to egg someone on.. she could not help it and when he said she could just use her name she could only nod befre stating what she was called. her name.

"Dàiyù."

RE: embraced by moonlight - Orochi - March 29, 2020

Orochi has taken many beatings in his life. Sometimes they were emotional, most times were physical (bought on by himself more or less). And maybe those wolves had stripped something away from him, but his name was something that would always stay with him. So what beatings could have possibly taken something so important from her? Dàiyù the weirdo, he dubbs her, because he couldn't understand why she'd let anyone take her name.

That's stupid, he declared, grunting afterwards. You should've beat them up for that. Had she? One glance at her has him assuming she didn't. She didn't look like the fighting type.
