It takes a smile that spreads like butter - Peony - March 01, 2020

The beginning of spring dawned on the plains, nothing had really changed yet but Peony loved the change of seasons and tried to keep track of the switches. Spring was a time of new beginnings, the russet didn't care who you used to be, only who you were now. Experience had shown itself true to mistakes, the little potholes in the highway of life. It didn't matter if you made mistakes, only if you get up afterward and keep pushing forward. If you can struggle through the darkness then you can see the light with ease unless of course, you are blind.

Upon the coming of spring also came new relationships, friendships in Peony's case. The girl knew it would be too early for flowers (but mark her words when they finally bloomed everyone would get a bouquet) and so she decided instead to travel around the borders and wish everyone she saw a happy spring. Not before finding something to give them though obviously. Searching around all she found was some pebbles and the lasting snow. But who was Peony if she couldn't make something as bland as a pebble into an adorable gift?

Not Peony clearly so if you said anything otherwise I'm afraid I have to inform you you are incorrect. Grabbing a few pebbles within her jaws the yearling took to a berry bush and squashed a few red snacks and started painting the small rocks with the sticky substance she had created. Finding a large leaf she set all her finished products on top of it so they could dry while she carefully dragged her presents on the miniature sled around the border, looking for her first receiver.
