ugly - Hela - March 10, 2020
quite suddenly, their numbers had swollen. not in a good way; the birth of not one, but two litters had introduced six hungry, useless mouths to their ranks. eventually, they'd grow up -- she had, after all. but until that day, they were deadweights. it was this she attributed her agitation to as she stalked the borders, the warlord's tail lashing. muzzle was held low, working meticulously to mark all those areas where scents had faded, noting those scents that happened to cross over into their territory.

Serendibite was checking the borders when she came upon Hela, and decided to interact with her. The warlord was clearly in a foul mood, but that just made things more interesting. "What's troubling you?" she asked, not bothering with formalities. Serendibite didn't care a bit, but if she could get some useful information, it would be worth the pleasantries.
