new perspective - Valencia - April 12, 2020 @Aibreann <3
Would the snow ever stop? Lenny supposed it made sense, seeing as they were a bit more northward than she was used to. And it wasn't so bad today, really, with just light snow dusting the ground beneath her paws. The girl, nevertheless, continued on her walk of the borders, making sure things were quiet. This was her job now, after all, and she wanted to be able to take care of her pack. Still, the inky wolf couldn't help but play on her walk. A little skip in her step here, a falter there when she spotted something interesting. Her patrols were never boring. RE: new perspective - Aibreann - April 12, 2020 She's coming back from another successful search for herbs when she spots the dark girl. She slows, debating avoiding the encounter (she's busy, after all), but ultimately decides it can't be helped; their paths are already set to cross. So she pushes ahead with her mouth full of herbs, dipping her head in greeting and slowing once more as she gives her packmate an opportunity to start a conversation. If the girl seems content with a passing greeting, she'll simply move on — otherwise, she'll set the herbs down and stay to chat for a minute.
RE: new perspective - Valencia - April 12, 2020 A woman crosses the border - rusty brown and gray - and carrying a mouthful of herbs. But otherwise, she does smell like their pack, and Lenny can deduce, with her great and powerful powers of observation, that she was a packmate. A healer, perhaps. "Ah! Let me help you," she offered, running over to the shorter woman with a wag of her tail. That mouthful of herbs was probably uncomfortable to carry like that - it would be at least nice of her to offer some help. "You've got a lot of... stuff! And I can carry some." A smile formed on her maw, friendly and open. RE: new perspective - Aibreann - April 12, 2020 She's a little surprised to see the unknown packmate interested in helping her, but she isn't about to complain. She sets the herbs down, promptly separating them into two piles.
Thank you,She glances up with a smile, indicating the pile she intends for the other girl with her muzzle. Be careful not to swallow any, it isn't very pleasant. The words are warm and well-intentioned, a friendly warning. After all, this particular plant is meant to be applied to infected wounds, and never eaten. RE: new perspective - Valencia - April 12, 2020 Lenny knew the basics in wound care, but she didn't know much. It just hadn't been interesting to her, so she'd relied on some of her other family members to treat her wounds when she'd been hurt in a spar or on a hunt. So this pile of herbs was unfamiliar to her. A smile crossed her maw before she bent down and picked the herbs up, head tilting to the side. Where to now? |
