I’m left no choice - Serem - April 16, 2020

slight PP of them arriving I'd appreciate it if all members posted at least once. Puppies are not required to show up but encouraged.

It had been decided that Valour would lead under her guidence and she was to remain general. She was disappointed in the young female but what's done is done and if wanted the title she'd have to fight for it later but it had to be announced and the raven lifted her ebony head and released a howl for the others to gather.

Once they all arrived she looked upon them. "It has been decided that Valour will be taking Hela's position." She would let him brush up on that before continuing. "Two pups are missing and that will be our main priority right now."

@Santiago Arcos @Vanity @Clarence @Memory @Ghidorah @Serendibite @Pestilence @Death @Valium

RE: I’m left no choice - RIP Clarence - April 16, 2020

Clarence perked his ears at the howl and got to his feet. He'd been feeling a little sluggish lately - his chest was sore and he was pretty achy. It was nothing to worry about, he was sure, but it still hurt rather badly. Still, the boy padded after the sound of the call and smiled when he saw Serem.

Valour was taking Hela's place, apparently. That was okay, he guessed - he'd never met Hela before, but he'd met Valour, and he liked him pretty well. So Valour and Serem leading would probably be good for the pack.

But the puppies that were missing was Clarence's biggest concern.

"Which ones?" he asked, brows drawn in worry. If needed, he would go and look for them himself.

RE: I’m left no choice - Ghidorah - April 16, 2020

Ghidorah had arrived on the scene with his signature blank face, his ghosy eyes dull as he took his place in the meeting. The titan looked to Serem, the bitch that dared flabber her mouth remained General as she spoke of who the next Warlord was. The Golden male remained unmoved and emotionless as she said that Valour was to take Hela's place, this wouldn't bother Ghidorah at all. In fact, nothing changed, this wouldn't hinder him in anyway so he felt no threat nor was threatened by Valour.

The male would contiue to stare until this meeting stopped wasting his time so he could move onto better things.
cameo unless mentioned!

RE: I’m left no choice - Santiago Arcos - April 16, 2020

Santi wasn’t far off when he’d heard her howl. Just off the edges of their border he patrolled when he goes stock still. He begins his sprint towards the noise and finds a few of his pack members already there. His eyes watch Serem intently as she speaks of the power change. He knew something was coming sooner or later.

His brows furrow as she talks of missing pups. How the fuck did that happen? He wonders internally. “I would also be willing to look for them.”

RE: I’m left no choice - Memory - April 16, 2020

He had known it was coming. The stupid girl had probably gone and gotten herself killed with that temper and overconfidence of hers. Although dissapointed that he hadn't been spoken to about it, despite Valour showing inclinations to let him have some rank- honestly at this point he was becoming frustrated- He was glad Valour had stepped up. The kid had a good head on his shoulders, and he was proud to serve him. At the mention of missing pups, Memory became alert. "we should set up a grid. Each active pack member scan a certain area of the territory. Unless they were snatched they can't be farther than a few hundred paces from the dens."

RE: I’m left no choice - Valour - April 16, 2020

Late but here we go

The howl sent a rush through his body his fur rising along his spine for a moment before he set off heading toward the source. As he arrived he swept his silver gaze along the small gathering of those already arrived as Serem made the announcement and then walked forward taking a seat beside the woman as if there was nothing strange or new about it at all. With a polite nod he turned to face the wolves he now lead his expression stoic as he had nearly mastered it to be though there was a quick nervous flick of his ears betraying him as Clarence immediately asked which were pups missing "Conquest and Famine" he answered readily already having checked when he found out himself. His eyes moved briefly to study the silent eery looking man who just stared as if there was nothing really happening inside his head. It was weirding him out so he turned to look at Santiago who he remembered had joined the hunt he had called the pack to about to address his offer when Memory spoke out and offered advice to start the search. A wave of aggravation sharpened his gaze as he looked to the freshly healed man "If they were in the territory they wouldn't be missing." the words were said with an turning up of his lips, the humor filled tone genuine though his expression did little to hide that he wasn't pleased with not being allowed to address the pack under his new title first. Taking a breath feeling uncomfortable as he realised everything he said was actually going to be taken seriously for once he thought quick "Search parties will rotate, two or three out at a time, going separate directions. Anything found is to be reported to me and Serem" the directions were as polite as he could make them when trying to keep himself from seeming like a weak child instead of a young king who was raised for this role "Those who aren't searching are to keep a tighter watch. Double the patrolling even outside of the woods and help keep an eye on the pups if you're trusted, otherwise try to hunt. Me and Serem will be working with everyone else" he couldn't think of anything else to say and awkwardly looked to Serem for her to finish up or add anything on. He didn't comment further on his status as Warlord hoping that nobody would speak out against him trying to issue the orders and just agree to work together on all ends peacefully.

RE: I’m left no choice - Serendibite - April 16, 2020

Serendibite sat quietly, listening to what was being said. She didn't care much about the rank change, though she was glad to be notified of it. Serendibite considered offering help with the search parties before remembering that she had never even met Conquest or Famine. She would be better off helping with the hunting for the other pups.

RE: I’m left no choice - Serem - April 16, 2020

She listened to Valour explain how the search was going to go as well as what needed to be done in order to make sure this didn't happen again. "We have an mother expecting a litter fairly soon and I expect for you all to make sure she gets her share of whatever is caught." She knew vanity was too far along to hunt for herself and she'd need it. Especially once the young were born. She looked to to Santiago to answer his question. "Their mother was careless. I will be moving the remaining pups to my den. Meet me after as well I'd like to speak to you."

RE: I’m left no choice - Memory - April 16, 2020

He wasn't aware of the gravity of the situation. Valour's ripple of irritation did not go unnoticed, and he swallowed the urge to snap a reply. He had always seen the potential in Valour. Had always been loyal to him- not so much to Hela. What could he say? He knew an alpha when he saw one. Hela was never an Alphaess in his eyes- just a pup who got lucky.
At Valour's suggestion he gave a curt nod. He had planned to take the pups under his care anyways, before his accident. He would need to speak to Serem about that again. Speaking of his accident- his eyes fell on Clarence. He hadn't seen the kid since the incident. He made his way over, gently nudging him. "We should talk...later." He whispered, turning his head slightly so he wouldn't see how badly he was scarred.

RE: I’m left no choice - Santiago Arcos - April 16, 2020

Santi’s twin moons go from either wolf as each one speaks. Valour describes what’s needed, memory speaks, Valours snaps back, and Santi can see the irritation riddling the chocolate wolf’s face. The black and white wolf holds back a malicious smirk, not that he doesn’t like Memory, but Santi would have done the same to any wolf here.

Then his eyes meet Serem and he nods to her sentence. “Entendido.” He replies back with his usual smirk.

RE: I’m left no choice - RIP Clarence - April 17, 2020

Clarence's ears flick back and he looks between each wolf present, trying not to express too much disappointment when Serem calls Santiago off to speak after the meeting. They were allowed to talk - it wasn't like he was Clarence's... anything, really, but Clarence was young and the feelings were all new and it was hard to navigate. He nodded to Valour, then turned his attention to Memory.

The scarring wasn't immediately evident but the boy knew it was there. He swallowed hard, throat suddenly extremely dry. "Okay," he whispered, tail and head both lowering in submission.

RE: I’m left no choice - Valour - April 18, 2020

There wasn't much said aside from Serem announcing there was another wolf pregnant. He blinked and stared at her, startled by the news that there were to be more on the way. Looking at everyone gathered he shifted anxiously and wondered if they'd have enough strength to hunt down two missing children and keep a mother and two newborns fed. Not to mention Valium and the others were going to start moving around a lot on their own. He'd have to start making it clear to them how important keeping close to home is. "I think that's all that needs to be said, right Serem? he awkwardly attempted to end the meeting looking at everyone already beginning to head out. If she agreed he would turn and head toward the borders to patrol and try to piece together some kind of idea where to look for the pups.

RE: I’m left no choice - Serendibite - April 20, 2020

Serendibite really didn't understand the appeal of children. Always running away, making wolves work to find them. And now that there were more on the way, she'd have to hunt even more than she already was. Still she'd do as she was told. If she worked on her skills, she could move up the ranks. Then maybe she wouldn't be stuck hunting all day for some worthless runts. She nodded and left the clearing, hoping that was it.
