A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Raven Vyler - August 19, 2014

Finally stepping out onto the sandy coast that is now shared with her, Raven sat on her weary haunches and raised her nares to the soft winds emmitted from its shores. A tiny smile slides its way to her maw, and she dips her crown to the grace of information the breeze sent to her. The sway of the fresh yet patched grass. The caress of the salty waves. The dry and ever abundant sandy floors. Opening her silver hued ice blue eyes, she scanned the sky, wondering what moon it would be tonight. Shaking her midnight enveloped mane, she layed herself soundlessly across the smoothed pebbled that have felt several travel worn paws before hers, and relished in the solitude. Closing her exhausted orbs, Raven lowered her dark cranium to her forepaws, keeping aware of her surroundings, but finding a bit of respite from the hard journey of finding a home, to take a bit of a light nap.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Syver - August 19, 2014

I'm assuming its night? I'm also assuming she didn't trespass. If its not correct I can edit. :) Also hover for translations

The young viking had taken to patrolling the borders of his new pack often, he had taken his vow seriously and was doing everything he can to help. The ivory prince did not tolerate trespassers and he wondered why wolves even bother to trespass. Did they want to die? Their border markers were strong and no doubt any wolf would be able to scent it.

Tonight, he was patrolling again, sapphire blue eyes shining out from the darkness. Then he paused, he smelled something, someone. He felt a growl threatening to escape him but forced it down, instead gracefully approached the scent and once again, he saw a female sleeping, or at least lying down. She was too near their borders for comfort, in fact the white prince even thought her as trespassing.

He had no patience for them, he kicked her roughly with a front paw and growled Hvað ert þú að gera hér, stelpa? Leyfisleysi?" before remembering to speak English. "What are you doing here, girl? Trespassing?" he said in English, although speaking in Norse seemed more threatening.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Raven Vyler - August 19, 2014

Leaping up, in an instant, Raven was on all four pads, hackles raised, back to the rocky drop off cliff, facing the larger built hessian. Drotch, na masacarve, denotch. she cursed to herself. She swore she wouldnt let her guard down, and on the first night, she failed. Raven lowered her tail in an effort to not get savaged by the brute. "I am a new member of the Stavanger Bay pack..." Lowering her shadow embedded hackles, she attempted to calm her instincts to fight him, knowing his size and strength would probably crush her average stature.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Syver - August 19, 2014

Just a quick reminder that she hasn't been accepted yet. It will be determined after this thread whether she becomes a full member of the Bay or not.

The ivory viking towered over her, his cerulean gaze cold and expression impassive. When she said she was a new member of Stavanger Bay, he resisted the urge to sneer. She had no scent of the Bay on her, just the smell of a loner and Ragnar surely didn't accept this pathetic female.

lygari" he growled in his native tongue. "Liar. You do not smell of the Bay, just the scent of a wandering female. Who accepted you, huh? You do not fool me, girl. Lying will just increase your chances of a death sentence. Why do you lie?" His tone was smooth and even, despite his biting words and his expression remained impassive.

He hated liars, why would they lie anyways. Lying would only bring her pain, shame and dishonor. He wondered how Ragnar would deal with this, this lying female wanderer.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Raven Vyler - August 19, 2014

(Understood, makes a better plot too. :D)

A twinge of pain sparked her stomach as she forced herself to not crumble under the stare. "I speak not a lie. Nor a truth. I speak half of one, and half of the other. " After speaking, her defiance of being called a liar had given her a bit of strength. "What I desire to be is a member of the Stavanger Bay. Not an enemy of it. So me being a loner..." She returns his cold emotionles stare with her own, filled with the flare of defiance she held. "...Means I am not a threat to you, wolf. I give you no hostility. Return the respect you wish to recieve." She did not trust her own words, but she kept the face of a wolf who would not tolerate disrespect when she did no wrong.

She dared to glance over her shoulder to gaze at the moon that threatened to peak over the clouds. It was 3 weeks from Full. Such a favorite time of lunar lapse for her. Raven refused to let any insults bite her internal peace at the Tarfa ca Pydari, Time of Peace. Especially not from a male who was swift to judge her.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Syver - August 19, 2014

Uh...not sure whats going to happen to Raven now....

"I speak not a lie. Nor a truth. I speak half of one, and half of the other." The ivory prince's gaze did not move. "What I desire to be is a member of the Stavanger Bay. Not an enemy of it. So me being a loner..." She wished to be a member of the Bay? She had ruined all her chances now. Either Ragnar would chase her away, make her a slave, take her captive but the chances of her joining was a full member now was slim.

When she stared him straight in the eye, she crossed the line. There were limits and this was totally disrespect. She was challenging him, huh? But he held his cool and returned her gaze with one filled with ice.

sorglegt stúlka." He smirked at her, which was what he hid his anger behind. "No threat to me? You threaten my pack when you trespass. I do not need to respect you. A mere trespasser and one without respect too. Now tuck that tail and lower that head if you wish to live."

He lifted his head and called for @Ragnar And we'll see what the Jarl will do with you.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Raven Vyler - August 19, 2014

( Gawd I gotta stop thinking this is Koloka. Dx)

Her conscious growled a warning note in her head. Driste, Räva, Driste adaña. Submit, Raven, Submit now. Nipping her tongue, she forced her obsidian soft belly to the rocky base, lowered her auds, averted her titanium stare to the base of his paws, and pushed her tail humiliatingly to her stomach. "Sa vyta.. I am sorry. My temper held me. " Keeping her orbs on his paws, she forced her instincts in check.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Syver - August 19, 2014

He watched coldly as she finally submitted, foolish girl. It was already too late. Of seint, stelpa" came to faint growl as he towered over her. "You think thats going to save you? Might save your life but nothing else. Remember, you ruined your own chances." he said and waited for Ragnar.

Hopefully the Jarl wouldn't be too annoyed at him for waking him up but he needed him to deal with the trespasser. Normally he would just chase them away but this one might make a good slave for him. It was Ragnar's decision.

"Just you wait, the Jarl might not be as merciful as me." he murmured into her ear.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Raven Vyler - August 19, 2014

The urge to bear her teeth and snarl was strong, but again, she held herself in check. Pressing her ears closer to her skull, she focused on the the ground on the left side of him.
Again, she let herself get the better of her. She was once so calm, so collected, calm and understanding. Those was the Raven that could possibly be already admitted into the pack, with no hesitation. Being a loner probably screwed her logic up. Drotch Again and again, she cursed herself. Because again and again, she is becoming more and more her worst nightmare.

"Just you wait, the Jarl might not be as merciful as me."

At those words, she cringed away from him, slipping into the belief that he might be right. A slash of fear attempted to steal her heart, but using what she could muster left of her hurt pride, she silenced her fear, and prayed to the Gods he was wrong.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Ragnar - August 20, 2014

Ragnar did not deal well with trespassers, mostly because the numbers in which they had been coming into his land had been beyond ridiculous. He did not imagine that all of these ignorant whelps that had trespassed had a death wish then they had done it, but it had almost brought them to Odinn's domain. Ragnar had nearly killed Tiarnan when the young foreigner had trespassed upon Stavanger Bay. It had been luck that had saved his life that day. Ragnar had been contentedly nestled between his wives, the Queen and the Priestess when the call had rose into the night for him. It was from the boy, the one that reminded Ragnar too much of his sons for his own personal liking, that made the scarred Scandinavian weary, the boastful one that had torn the Viking from the comfort of his wives' bodies. Still, it was urgent and he was the Jarl. It was his job to put duty before his own pleasures. With a kiss to the brow and a nuzzle of each wife's neck he slid from his spot betwixt them and shrugged out of the Jarl's den and began heading in the direction the youth's howl had risen from.

He arrived on the scene, hackles bristled along the strong curve of his spine, eyes of caribbean ice bright and harsh, lip curled back from his teeth as his gaze locked onto the trespassing female with the precision of a predator. A low warning growl slipped from between the Jarl's lips as his tounge raked across his sharp canines in a threatening manner, the scarred left side of his head tilted up, catching the moon's light. Brazenly, with no fear of death, the demon approached her, stance dominate and assertive, coy and aggressive. He did not feel like playing his game of mischief. This woman was the reason why he was not drifting into slumber between his wives, with his children scattered about him and his Queen Wife (having their reservations regarding his Priestess Wife). Give me one good reason why I should not kill you. After all, as far as deaths went trespassing was not one that Odinn considered a unnecessary death. Not when he had no idea the intentions of the trespasser and had not only subordinates but children and babes still in the womb to protect.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Syver - August 20, 2014

The young Viking stepped back as Ragnar arrived, Give me one good reason why I should not kill you. the Jarl said. His own cerulean blue eyes were sharp and cold as he looked upon the black female, his head tilted slightly as he waited for the female's answer. He seemed to be no longer needed her but was content to stay and watch if Ragnar needed help, he'll be right beside him.

The ivory prince had told her, but she insisted for his respect, his respect when she was clearly trespassing on the Bay's lands. She wished to join too but how was that going to happen now? With the Jarl clearly angry and him, well angry too. Facing two angry Vikings was a bad idea.

He waited silently, waited eagerly for her reply. Would she be as disrespectful to Ragnar as she had to him? She would then be tying her own noose. The chances of her joining the Bay as a full member had literally crumbled into dust.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Raven Vyler - August 20, 2014

After hearing a growl that seemed to to be of a thousand thunderstorms. All of Ravens confidence drained, and she didnt even dare to lift her eyes to its source. In all truth, this might be the one and only time, she had been truly petrified. But she had to make a decision...silence would only get her killed. Using what little remained of her logic and calm, the hellion assumed the voice belonged to Ragnar, that Alpha the pale white brute who spoke a foreign world, mentioned before. Gulping, she remembered his other bit of the description...his ruthlessness. Mentally shaking herself, Raven forced herself into a mode of mentality that she prayed would keep her alive. Still restraining from tilting her silver hued orbs at the hessian who planned to savarge her if she did not answer, she had faith in the Gods that if she did the opposite, the would have mercy on her.

"I wished...I wished to join your pack..jetori ca menaska, balek. I meant no harm, mercy. "

Je skas plebesko. I hope that worked. And I do hope the moon tells no lies this night. She willed to herself. And if the moon was wrong, then she had lost all faith in her ability to read the Lunar Scripts. And her neck would be snapped, shredded, and her carcass left for the wildlife to have their way with. It all would be revealed in Ragnar's choice. So with ears pinned straight to her crown, and a tender pitch black belley that couldnt be pressed farther to the ground, she awaited his judgement.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Ragnar - August 21, 2014

The woman did not raise her eyes, which in her defense, was a good thing but her submissiveness did not appease the territorial Jarl. The point of the fact was she was still within his borders and though realistically not a threat against Ragnar alone Syver had stuck around though the boy had moved to give Ragnar the space the Jarl required to do his job. The woman's lips had parted to speak and while sound had came forth it did not answer Ragnar's question. He was tired of trespassers, tired of taking them captive, tired of wolves acting like his borders did not exist when they did. Obviously, he needed to be a lot more ruthless in order to get the word out that Stavanger Bay wasn't to be messed with. Perhaps he might string the bodies of his wolf sacrifices out along the borders so the rotting flesh of brethren got the message across. Too often he was mistaken for a soft man. He wasn't soft. He wasn't kind. He wasn't a hero. He was the anti-hero, and his wives did a fair job at spinning a Saga of lies about him. He was as loving as he could be to them because they were his women, the same went to his children but that did not mean they were the exceptions of his personality, as Thistle had found out the hard way.

Mercy, Ragnar breathed with a dangerously coy smirk tugging at the edges of his lips, his soft, accented voice repeating the word as if it were a jest. She wanted to join Stavanger Bay and she desired mercy from him when she was trespassing Surely, surely this had to be a joke. You did not answer my question, Ragnar spoke to her slowly, as if she were a child that he needed to repeat himself too. For the time being, he saw her as no different. Until she gave him a reason not to kill her he saw no point in indulging her with speak of joining and mercy. Not when she was begging mercy from a breed of man that did not know the meaning of the word mercy.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Syver - August 21, 2014

The girl did not raise her eyes to stare at the Jarl, which was a good thing, probably if he was her but it did not appease both the Alpha and himself. She had dared stare him in the eye with fiery defiance when she, she herself had trespassed on the Bay's lands. Slept on the Bay's lands and when he tried to get her to leave, what did she do? She disrespected him, on his pack's lands.

But his expression remained impassive, cerulean gaze cold as he stared down at her cowering body, he did not feel pity for her. When she literally begged for mercy, said she meant no harm, he had to resist the urge to step forward and snap her neck but it would not do him good in the eyes of the Jarl so he resisted to the best of his ability. Although a flicker of icy anger went through his eyes.

She was asking for mercy, asking two wolves who did not know the meaning of mercy for mercy. He did not wish to disrupt the Jarl but this, he couldn't resist. He spoke softly, enough for both of them to hear. Miskunn, orð sem ég veit ekki."

"Sleeping on our lands, disrespecting me when I told you to leave, saying for me to respect you when you were clearing trespassing. What is mercy?"

He turned to Ragnar, dipping his head and shooting him an apologetic look, murmuring an apology in Norse, an apology spoken so softly that only the Jarl could hear, it was an extra precaution that it was spoken in ancient Norse. After all the girl probably did not speak it or understand it.“Ég er því miður fyrir að trufla. Fyrirgefðu mér, Ragnar."

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Raven Vyler - August 21, 2014

Feeling her time running faster than the beat of her heart, Raven felt a bit of hopelessness wash over her. " Datan cremoria ne noct parahsht" her insided voice toyed with her. And she answered with silence. Keeping her orbs firmly on the ground,, she thought over her question, and pondered his question with such intensity, it might have fried her brain if she had let it. "What good could I be to them...what could I be..im not special..." she questioned her own talent. Then it hit her : Her teachings from the mystic of her family pack. Her lunar magic. Would he see that as resourcful? Or would he rather proudly place her head on a pike? The she wolf searched her mind and found no answer, so she decided she would provide one for herself. After making sure her throat was clear of fear, Raven murdered her panicked silence, and spoke with the last bit of courage her Goddess allowed her too. "If you would allow it, I could potentially provide you a resource that may be useful.." Taking a deep breath, she made sure her voice did not falter. "I read the moon. I studied Lunar Scripts under my birth packs Mystic, and since then...since ive left them...I have never been wrong. Be it basic or complicated readings...I have never failed. And if you allow me to live, and be one with the pack you rule...I would gladly be of use for any readings you may desire." Briefly pausing, she adressed the pristine white male who's cold eyes she felt on her jugular. "As for the disrespect I have caused you...I send to you an apology. I was out of my place, and with being in new lands that did not belong to me, I do not have the right to be breathing at this moment. If Ragnar gives the order to kill me...I will take my death without a fight. The disrespect, the tresspassing, the lying, all will damn me." Laying her buzzed midnight draped crown on the floor, she spoke again with a softer and compliant tone. "And if the choice is to not accept my apology, and to murder me,...then I will not blame you. The decision lies with you. Azarartha be with you both.

Shutting her eyes, keeping her ears back, and black silked body on the now warmed pebbled ground, she said prayers of death, hoping to Azarartha she did what was right in her Scripts. On the Time of Peace, blood would be shed. And it would be hers. This would be not only her death, but she would finally be wrong in her readings. That was something she did not wish to live with. So with a body that felt weighed tons, she tensed, waiting for the blows that would send her to Harrthvanïo, the Underworld.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Ragnar - August 22, 2014

Raven shouldn't know Ragnar's name since no one has told it to her yet. ;-)

The woman spoke of having a 'resource' that may have been use to him and his and Ragnar lent the woman his ear, only to feel his brow furrow when she spoke of 'reading the moon'. How could one read the moon? Máni was a God, not something that could be read. He barely tolerated his Priestess Wife's desire to become a Naturalist because the trade went against everything that Ragnar believed as a Nordic Pagan. This woman would rub salt in her already opened insults by claiming that she could read one of his Gods, though Ragnar suspected that she wasn't aware that the moon was a god to any Nordic Pagans that resided within the Bay, that was plain to see to the scarred Scandinavian yet still. You cannot read Máni. He is a God chased every night by the great wolf Hati, Ragnar told her simply, shifting his weight, tail rising above his head for a second as a low growl rumbled against the strong column of his throat. I am Pagan. I have no use for your scriptures, Ragnar said the word scriptures, accent causing him to lilt on the wrong sounds, twisting it from betwixt his lips. I asked for a real reason, Of which Ragnar had assumed he wasn't going to receive.

Ragnar's eyes only narrowed when she then apologized to Syver, speaking of disrespect. What was it with all these trespassers disrespecting his subordinates only to supposedly feel remorse for it once they were face to face with their judgment and Ragnar's ire? Ragnar definitely had no patience for wolves who had no respect. It is funny how all are remorseful for the disrespect of my subordinates when they are suddenly face to face with me, Ragnar had always known that he cut an intimidating factor, unaided by the intentional scars that marred his face. Random claw marks to everyone but Floki, himself, and Odinn. Ragnar's lips had parted to speak but Syver interrupted, spitting questions at the woman. All of them echoing most of Ragnar's own. She sounded just like Diluculo of whom Ragnar could say he wasn't sad at all to see abandon Horizon Ridge. It had been no secret that him and that woman hadn't gotten along for similar reasons. At that time Ragnar had been in no position to do much of anything about it but this time he was. He was the Jarl and his word was the law.

He was faced with the pressing question: did he want to allow another like Diluculo within his borders?

You have admitted to trespassing, lying, disrespecting my subordinate and then demanding respect of him as if you have any right, Ragnar spoke after a brief moment of contemplative silence, You have not given my any incentive to take you into my pack, offering me no useful skills, Eyes of Caribbean ice bore harshly into her. Get off of my lands with your life tonight, He drew a breath his face stoic, his tone soft, serious and deadly. And if you ever trespass upon them again I will take your life from you. The Jarl spoke his grim warning before he waited for her to go willingly. And if she did not, then he would force her and she would have to hope that Syver could talk him into restraining himself. He gave one warning and that was all she was going to get from Ragnar Lodbrok.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Syver - August 22, 2014

Icy eyes stared as the woman spoke of something about reading the moon. How could a wolf read the moon?? Máni was a God, he couldn't be read. This woman had basically just insulted both of them by saying she could read one of their Gods. You cannot read Máni. He is a God chased every night by the great wolf Hati, said Ragnar as a low growl rumbled out from his through. They were Pagans, they didn't need her scriptures.

When she apologised to him, his cerulean blue eyes turned icy. She couldn't expect him to accept her apology when she so clearly disrespected him, words meant nothing to the young Viking. You have admitted to trespassing, lying, disrespecting my subordinate and then demanding respect of him as if you have any right, said the Jarl. And if you ever trespass upon them again I will take your life from you.

At this, the white prince said firmly to the black female. "Do not move, if you fear for your life." Dipping his head in respect, he turned to Ragnar and murmured softly in Norse. Ég meina ekkert illt við þig, Ragnar, en ég bið ykkur að íhuga þennan valkost. Hún gæti orðið þræll, læra sumir auðmýkt, læra að þjóna, læra að virða og þú gætir sett hana til góðra nota. Það myndi gera gott hennar og hún gæti verið gagnlegt. Önnur en sorglegt hennar lestur." he said in a soft respectful tone.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Raven Vyler - August 22, 2014

After hearing of their beliefs, Raven's heart seemed to plummet. Well, her chance came, then left with no look backs. But in Azarthian...the moon was a Goddess...it was Azarartha. The was the Alphess de noct, of the night...she hunted the same trail across the stars until her brother Vyrikňok came about, and brought an end to her hunt, shedding light where hers once touched. Raven was raised to believe the Lunar Scripts, the Pale Alphess, and the messages she spoke to her disciplines. Shaking her head, Raven finally submitted to her silence, and said nothing further. The only benifit she had was that her Goddess spoke right of the nights events: no blood would be shed. Raven prepared herself to leave, but the second after the Jarl of Stavanger Bay spoke, his loyal packmate who she had almost been shredded to before, sent another growl her way, and again, she felt icey spikes shoot directly at her.

"Do not move, if you fear for your life"., the frost white brute threw at her.

Now she was puzzled. The alpha told her to leave...his packmate said not too...oh gods, such a mass confusion. Tempted to leap to her fours and take off, but intelligence knocked her instincts away, telling her that she would be better if she just waited the confrontation out.

Listening the the male, she felt an eerie feeling in her gut that he was speaking about her. Her paranoia tried to twist it into a foul beast, saying he was sending her death sentence to his nordic leader, and she shook off the chills that went down her aching spine. She had never been so uncomfortable in this submission pose. With the pain came more thoughts as the ivory he wolf chatted in his ancient world language to his Alpha.
Why could she not offer any better services than her readings? Why could she have not been born a hunter? Or a fisher? Or a healer? Why did she learn from the moon? Why such devotion? With more and more time that passed, she silently tormented her own self with her own mental beatings, over her uselessness.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Ragnar - August 23, 2014

When Ragnar had given the command for the woman to leave he had expected her to leave and had seen with satisfaction the twitch of muscles that she had intended to leave. Until his lowest ranking subordinate ignored his command and gave the woman one of his own. Snarl ripped from between Ragnar's exposed teeth as his head whipped towards the boy, lips curling back to expose wickedly sharp canines, tail raising high over his head. He was in no smirking mood now. This boy presumed to not only defy but override Ragnar's command. He was nothing. He held no true rank within the Bay and certiantly no where near, nor would he ever be near any rank high enough to defy Ragnar. Not even his own Queen Wife truly held that power. The words the boy spoke to him in ancient Norse, suggestions as if Ragnar was the child here were heard but only proved to enrage the Jarl further. The exact thing the boy had just given her the riot act for he had done to Ragnar. Shut up, Ragnar interrupted him, finally, having enough of his words of 'meaning no disrespect' when if he had meant no disrespect he wouldn't have dared to do what he had done.

I don't know where you came from nor do I care but if you dared to disrespect your last Jarl as you just did me it is no wonder why you are no longer there, He would pay for it. Ragnar did not put up with disrespect; he did not give second chances for disrespect. If you think she can be so useful then you can go with her, Except it wasn't a suggestion. Ragnar meant it. I want both of you out of my territory now and if either of you come near these borders again you will not be leaving with your lives. Now get out of my home before I change my mind and kill you both now. You are banished from these lands, both of you. His words were spoken calmly, tail lashing viciously behind his haunches. Ragnar had every intention of giving his pack mates the kill on sight order and if they did not have the heart to do it, he would. Too many times had wolves trespassed and too many times had Ragnar taken captives. He didn't want another slave, he already had one, and he certainly didn't need some boy to tell him how to handle loners at his own borders. Odinn will disgrace you boy, Perhaps that was why Ragnar had always felt weary of him, beyond the almost bizarre similarities between the boy and his two sons.

Regardless, Ragnar was done with the pair of them, and if they defied him still then he would take them out of his borders by force and there would be blood shed and it would not be his own. They were lucky he didn't just kill them both now. Leave and never come back. Ragnar growled at them, snapping his teeth as he lunged after them, wanting them out of his territory and wanting them running with their tails tucked between their legs to the opposite side of the Teekon Wilds.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Syver - August 23, 2014

Last post for me :)

I don't know where you came from nor do I care but if you dared to disrespect your last Jarl as you just did me it is no wonder why you are no longer there, said Ragnar.

The ivory prince listened as Ragnar spoke, he had known that he probably wouldn't stay in this pack for a while. It was not for him even if the leader of the pack was a Scandinavian and a Viking. He knew it would only be a matter of time before he had to leave and although this was unexpected, a small part of him was glad. He did not disrespect his father, his father disrespected him. Soon, he would no longer follow, he would lead but until then....

I want both of you out of my territory now and if either of you come near these borders again you will not be leaving with your lives. Now get out of my home before I change my mind and kill you both now. You are banished from these lands, both of you.

He turned an icy blue gaze onto the black female, he did not want her for company for even if he was banished. It did not erase her disrespect towards him, even as a loner, she had no right to disrespect him and he did not forgive easily. Leave and never come back. growled Ragnar

The ivory prince merely smirked at his former Alpha, dipping his head in acceptance to his banishment. Ég myndi gjarna fara, Ragnar"he said, meeting his former leader's eyes. He was no longer bound to Stavanger Bay, in his opinion, he did not need to respect anyone who was not above him. And now, nobody was above him.

He turned, nudged the dark female roughly, cerulean gaze still cold and unforgiving to her and made his way out of Stavanger Bay territory. He only quickened his leisurely pace when Ragnar lunged after them but he trotted proudly out of the borders, not afraid or submitting and once he was out, he took a deep breath of ocean air and trotted out. He did not see if the dark female was following or not, he didn't care, nor did he look pack. He gazed out at the sea, it was time to make a home away from the waters, at least for now. But when he was older, he would make a home near the sea.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Raven Vyler - August 23, 2014

(Same here)

So swiftly the situation went from bad, to worse, as the Jarls wrath increased. However, unexpectedly, it turned to his own pack mate as well, not just her, though she was receiving a fair share of it.

"I want both of you out of my territory now and if either of you come near these borders again you will not be leaving with your lives. Now get out of my home before I change my mind and kill you both now. You are banished from these lands, both of you."

Hell, he did not have to tell her twice. Raven knew not of the pale wolfs intentions he spoke to his now past Alpha about her, but apparently it was the wrong decision. The second she felt a nudge upon her, she did not even look up to see who touched her, but Raven managed to climb to her aching fours, still keeping herself low. Her silver exhausted orbs fell on the new loner who now joined the ranks of the packless...the pale one. Was it a smirk on his maw? Was he satisfied? Had this been...what he wanted?...

Seeing him turn to leave, she pondered if he would allow her to follow him.
"I do not have anyone, nor anyone else...I do hope he does not..mind."
Without looking back, she followed the white hessian out of the lands of his former pack, who held so much pride, in prayers she would attain some of her own back.

RE: A New Beginning (Raven's Joining) - Ragnar - August 24, 2014

Ragnar bared his teeth at the both, knowing that if he likely ever saw him again that there would be blood shed and that Ragnar would kill him. There was no doubt of it in the Lodbrok's mind. His death would be on it's way, when the boy dared to look into his eyes. Instead of lunging for his throat as Ragnar desired to do, he gave the child a chilling and coy smirk. Look into my eyes and you will see death, A deep, ethereal voice whispered around Ragnar's skull, a shiver of heat and adrenaline surging up his spine. Odinn. He felt the All-Father's presence even though he could not see him this night. Ragnar didn't need some high and mighty, arrogant little boy who thought he could challenge his Jarl's command and then expected everything to be okay because they shared the same culture. That was never how it worked, Ragnar, of all should know. How many times he had defied his Jarl's and Pump in the sake of his own gain. There were consequences for actions like that.

Ragnar watched them go without regrets before he sent out a howl to his wolves, waking those who had slept and alerting all to the situation before he turned when the pair was far out of his sight and headed back to the Jarl's den desiring to be with his wives and children.
