top secret travel viewer - RIP Kaertok - May 02, 2020

He'd been instructed not to stray too far from the bypass, but that didn't mean he couldn't put his time to good use while he was nearby. He left Arbiter for the time being and moved south toward the forest. There was still some uncertainty on where their children would be reared if Legion did not bolster itself quickly, but Sungiwok was certain they would make something work, even if it meant taking shelter with another pack. He let his feet wander along the southern border of the home he had kept for some time now. How many moons had passed? Three? Four? Perhaps it was nearing on half a year.

The Tartok wolf didn't seek out anything in particular today, but he was keeping his senses open for anything out of the ordinary. It would be fortuitous for a loner to come along and join them, but he wasn't going to get his hopes up just yet. Then again, he also didn't have any qualms trying to poach wolves from other packs. At this point, it didn't seem like a terrible idea.

RE: top secret travel viewer - Evanora - May 02, 2020

Cloaked in her body mask adorned with broken antlers, she wandered away from the marsh and into the green woods that neighboured her home. The contrast of the two lands was something she had gotten used to, the grove was rich in ingredients and life, easy prey abound - and wolves. Wolves? Why are these stinking wolves around anyway, they were around for a while now and not one, not one came to introduce themselves to the witch just a land away?

Rude.

Rude!

And one was right there, just wandering around. Maybe now they were out to seek her out for whatever, though at this point she was not as generous as she would have been months ago - and hoped, oh how she hoped they would ask for something good just so she could hex them instead.

Maybe that would teach them to be more neighborly to the resident sorceress.

At this point she was just staring at the white man through the boney holes of the skull.

Instead of a potential recruit, Kaertok saw the most unabashedly bizarre thing he'd ever witnessed. The scent was coyote, but it was clearly a coyote gone mad. It was plodding slowly along, balancing bones in all kinds of precarious ways that didn't look the least bit comfortable. Acting out of instinct more than logical thought, Kaertok rushed toward it, a growl rumbling from his throat as he hoped to scare whatever it was away. He didn't want anything like this near Legion, let alone his incubating children.

She was ill, it was an easy way to put it, to be honest. She didn't react to his charge other than growl herself, truly, what rude creatures they were! What a rude wolf, she spat out, her hackles rose and should he connect in his attack oh how she will curse him and all that associate with him! She had done nothing, after all, no borders crossed, no words uttered than the previous statement to his actions. If she could successfully poison their water supplies, oh how pleased she would be to watch them all wither and die as their water source brought nothing but death!

Her words, if Kaertok had been making an attempt to listen, would have been muddled by the skull she wore over her head. Unfortunately for her, Kaertok wasn't the listening type. The coyote stood there, and she didn't move even when he warned her. One warning was all she would get. Not wasting another second, Kaertok rushed her again, this time aiming to bowl her over and knock off all her ridiculous adornments.
