do you love me? - RIP Star - May 17, 2020

looking to thread w the kids, esp @Phaedra @Astraeus @Thade if any of yall are interested<3

Thinking of her conversations with both Wylla and Mahler, Star set out that mid-morning with the young of Sagtannet in mind. They had to be around two months now; old enough to chatter and play. A lovely age- without the dullness of babies or the attitude of teenagers, simply a insatiable high energy. She was an old pregnant woman- she knew they would likely overwhelm her, and yet she headed to the place where they stayed anyway. She settled near the entrance with a slight smile on her face, hoping one or two might emerge without her having to ask their parents of their whereabouts.

Astraeus had never submitted completely to Wylla -- the chatterbox boy easily slipped when the sweat-ridden forms of the litter. He did not need to tell a tale of his whereabouts, her focus was always on her own overgrown fetuses. The click of growing nails against the stone. Evading the queen's satin eye --

Oh? There was a petite woman, though is size couldn't rival hers, her belly plump with young. The boy had never seen a pregnant maiden such as she, so naturally he resorted to fat. At least it wasn't his milk, the one advantage of his living situation. The sun-born light painted his coat a different color, he blinked twice. Now that he thought about it, what was the lipped snowflake gazing into their den for?

Awfully suspicious, Astraeus sniffed the air with a grumble. Pine and honey, grit and rock. But didn't everything here smell that way. Gazing defiantly into the lady's eyes now, he growled audibly. His emotions would be known.

A handsome grey boy passed soon enough, and she eyed him with an archaic smile reminiscent of Greek sculpture, pleasant and wholly forced. He didn't seem to be in a great mood, though, she considered at the sound of his tiny grumbles and growls. Star bent down, lowering herself to his level. What's got you down? For she wasn't one for baby talk, and had no intention of working to amuse him- he would grow into an adult like everyone else, and ought to be treated with the expectations of one.

edit: @Star just tagging you to let you know this is back up! pls don't rush ik you're busy u-u

Astraeus held a value of a bagatelle. Passed around as his finders becamed jaded when he proved to be too much of a task. He wasn't keen on rubbing shoulders with the adult.
She was beaming ear to ear, a plastic doll posing, perfectly placed upon a predella. Angelic, but the forced blessing somehow stinged. Then again, his luck with resisting oft left him in another recycling bin situation. Astraeus wasn't gifted with social interaction, and so the next best thing is the dulled murmur of growl to let her know he was a man who meant business.
