Strangers are friends waiting to happen - Steph - May 22, 2020

@Brave

Steph was working hard, traveling around Rising Sun Valley to try and recruit new wolves to Morningside. She had thought she'd meet strangers, but so far, she had met extended family to Sunny. Which, she supposed, was a good thing. Family was much easier to recruit, and they were more likely to stick around. She rather liked Journey and Soleon, and thought both of them would be excellent pack mates. They had already shown their skills in hunting, even though the doe had got away.

She continued her travels and ended up at Duck Lake, for which she was thankful because she was getting dehydrated. She lowered her body down to the ground to drink her fill, and then sat up. She supposed she could rest here a little while before moving on. She was thankful her injury was fully healed, or else all this traveling would have done a number on her. She was still on the thin side, but she knew with regular meals, she would fill out once again.

RE: Strangers are friends waiting to happen - Brave - May 30, 2020

The young man’s excursion had carried him across a great stretch of land and to the banks of a wide lake. On the surface of the water, ducks paddled lazily against the warm backdrop of blue skies and a brilliant sun. Ahead, a grove of aspen trees promised some comfort of shade and a place to rest his paws and legs. Without much more debate, Brave set his destination for the edge of the trees and set his pace to a steady trot. The sun streaming on his back warmed him to the core. After a short time, his lips split, and his tongue lolled from the side of his mouth.

It did not take long for the spry young wolf to clear the distance between the bank and the grove. Once he had found the shade of the trees, he plopped himself onto the earth and surveyed the lake with a curious eye. Out beyond the shade of the trees, there was a dark figure that Brave could not make out from where he rested. With a joyous bark, he called to see if they could hear him.
