SHE WAS THE WICKED WITCH OF THE EAST, BRO!!! - Quetzal - May 26, 2020

It had rained the night before, and the morning after, Q was having the time of her life. She no longer needed to slink out of the den but instead could go as she pleased... now, it was a matter of getting past where she was supposed to go. Whatever the forbidden fruit was, Q wanted a piece. Like, the outside world had been kept from her for so long... for what? This place was amazing!

Luckily for mom and dad, her mind was otherwise occupied upon seeing her twin sisters worst nightmare. And it wasn't because it was her twin sisters worst nightmare that she loved it, it was just because to her... the stuff was so much fun. Unfortunately for mom and dad, they would have a huge mess on their hands... and this time, dad was not to blame.

There was no question she was up to something. As Q zigged-zagged around the muddy earth, she was quiet, her giggles breathless as she tore into the earth. More often than not, the gangly girl would slip and tumble; by now, clumps of grass, earth, and slimy mud was more of her makeup than anything else. Q looked like a little mud monster, and now paused from her mud-zoomies to splash in a puddle.

Laughing, she paused to catch her breath which was long enough for the water to still. In the muddy water was the mud monster, clear as day, but as of yet Q knew no fear. HEY!!!!! She yelled, oblivious that this was her reflection. WHO YOU ARE??? She squinted, and when the stranger squinted back she withdrew, which the other did too. YOU SCARED?? NO SCARED, she leaned in, which the other did too, naturally, and Q went bug-eyed at the proximity. This was definitely no one she knew... but Q had no concept of "stranger danger", anyway.
