all the small things - Hera - May 26, 2020 All Welcome. Night, 13°C, Clear Sky
Beneath the pale moonlight a crab scuttles quietly across the sandy shore, and despite her position further up the beach, the crustacean catches her eye. Sprawled out elegently upon the cool sand, the raven-cloaked woman is quick to focus her attention on it, twisting her neck around so that she may observe the small creature as it hurries out to the sea. It does not make it though, for the shewolf soon rises and stalks after it. Curious, she prods and sniffs at the crab with her nose, and grins menacingly when it raises its claws in protest. Quickly growing bored, she swiftly sweeps it up in her jaws and brings an end to her crual teasing with one loud crunch. RE: all the small things - Aiolos - May 26, 2020 Out again, he was, as per usual for the red sea wolf. Savor his passing time with his Empress and new budding family, Aiolos was out and about as was his duty. Once again he searches for his missing friend, their former Empress and he does so by pacing the coast from his home to the west as he had time and time again. Alas, he has not yet found her, but out along the coast he catches the hunt in action of a dark woman he did not know. Good catch. He speaks with a smile, having watched as the crab nearly escaped to the ocean. Lowering his raised head and waving his tail along his hocks, he allows her to know he means to harm to her. RE: all the small things - Hera - May 27, 2020 The crab was salty, its white and brown flesh stringy and fibrous. The crustacean made for a tasty morsel, one which the wolf swallowed down whole after crushing it with her jaws. Licking the sand and seasalt from her lips, she scanned the beach for another one. A much larger figure catches her eye this time, and she raises her head to watch the other wolf in his approach, noticing the warm fiery hues of his pelt. Accepting of his complement and the male's neutral demeanour, she settles back down onto the sand with a playful shimmy of her svelte frame and a twinkle in her amber eyes. "Care to catch me another?" RE: all the small things - Aiolos - May 27, 2020 Her fiery attention, equal to his own, danced over his pelt as she settled onto the beach, hunger in her eyes - though not for him. I would care enough to,He spoke, though his head lifted to tilt and a brow rose. If, perhaps, you may offer me some information in trade? He almost bit his own tongue realizing he was bartering with a woman. Once upon a time ago, he would have hunted for the woman without question and without anything in return. Still, he began to move closer, head remained low, searching, scanning, sniffing... There was more, plenty more, but they hide just under the surface, trying to avoid a predator's eye. RE: all the small things - Hera - May 28, 2020 So he was a bargaining man. A mischevious grin pulled at the corners of her dark salt-stained lips. She enjoyed his slight resistance as she attempted to bend him to her will. "Well now," She lifted her chin up to him. "that would depend on the information you seek." Her own brow rose. The raven-cloaked woman was not the sort to go around sharing her secrets with just anyone. Even as she observed the fiery haired man move in closer to sniff at the damp sand, her lips remained tightly sealed. RE: all the small things - Aiolos - May 29, 2020 And bend him, she likely would, for Aiolos was not a man to often question the word of a woman, especially that whom allied herself with the Sea and Moon and was fitting as a sea-maiden, a Siren. Her chin lifted, words spoken and brow arched. His head lifted from the sands, a smirk of his own playing on creamy lips. I'm looking for someone. He paused, waiting for her to realize it wasnt information about Her he was seeking. Pretty or not, dont flatter yourself. Her name is Ying. A royal lost to my pack, Yuelong. My pack. Did he just say that out loud? Well it was his home after all. RE: all the small things - Hera - May 29, 2020 She caught his smirk, though the flirtatious fire in her orange eyes died out when the man mentioned that he was looking for someone. A female, nonetheless. The raven's expression turning cold, her dark brows pinching together ever so slightly in disappointment as she turned to look out to sea. Though her ears did prick up when the fiery male mentioned the word 'royal' along with the fact that she belonged to 'his' pack. Presumably that made him the leader of so-called Yuelong. She looked him up and down with interest. Well, he did seem the type. She lifted her chin to him again, her autumn orange eyes closing to slits as she peered at him over her dark nose. "What is she worth to you?" She asked, her tone coy. RE: all the small things - Aiolos - May 30, 2020 Her smile faded, brows pinched. The flirtatious spark along with it when he mentioned he was looking for a woman. Her couldnt help but to keep the playful grin on his lips, her presumed jealousy causing such in him. Though Ying was far from his lady, Aiolos wasnt exactly 'single' either. Or was he? Hell, he really didnt know. Though his placement on where he stood with Ruo was definitely something he had thought of time and time again, it wasnt exactly on the forefront of his mind, either. Making sure she, whom he did care for deeply, was on his mind. Thus also caring for the pup they had together, making sure his Empress and her pups were good, and of course, finding Ying... He pawed at a spot after sniffing, then sniffing again and pawed more, revealing the shell of a hidden blue-gray crab. Out the corner of his eye he would see her attention cast out over the sea and he digs more, the cran growing defensive with its claws and attempting to scurry to sea. Quite alot, really. He spoke, giving a hop forward and crunching down on the crab, ending its life. It is here he looks up to her, noticing her scruntizing, narrowed gaze. She was Empress along her sister, Hua. She also commanded our guardians in this region, the Junshi. She was very important, something which would have been obvious if this one knew her. He guessed she did not. Still, might she have seen her? He dips his head down, taking the crab by one of its claws and bringing it forth to her, settling the catch down at her dark paws. Lifting his head to her, close, maybe even too much so as they stood nose to nose, he smiles once more. All yours. The food, that is. ;) RE: all the small things - Aiolos - July 12, 2020 Gonna go ahead and close this one up since she hasnt been touched in awhile. :)
He didnt want to be rude, truly he didnt. Though in knowing this woman did not in fact know of Ying, there was little more which needed to be said. He smiled to the woman, wondering if perhaps one day he may run into her again. Perhaps if she may one day join in there Pack, even. Though today his mind was not on recruiting, it was on trying to yet still pick up on the scent of the missing Ying. So after kind farewell, Aiolos made his way off to continue on his mission. |
