inside you rests a host of predators - Bambam - May 28, 2020
the early morning is cool; pleasantly so to bambam as he makes his way thru the thriving emerald forest of the grotto. the unobscured moonlight illuminates his way in sugary moonbeams; gentle even with the curious lick of shadows that twine about his legs and the path he takes. though only having been in these wilds for a day and night he feels relief at the fact that it is bountiful. there is no shortage of prey — large or small — and he suspects that provided he does not make ( too many ) enemies he could prosper here. the taetrus bloodline could root and grow here, separate from the fort. tired from his travels, he reclines down upon his belly in a sphinx-like position at the edge of the fresh water source at the grotto's heart after he sates his thirst and though keeps himself in a position that mimics alert closes his eyes with the thought that he'd only rest them for a few seconds.
