Blood Bound - Raven Vyler - August 24, 2014

Raven was startled awake from her slumber, and in her haste, she was swift to stand, which was a foul mistake on its own. She almost collapsed from the pain she recieved the moment she met her four paws to the ground, and the nights previous events flooded her. With recovered comprehension, she looked around for the pale wolf who went for watch duty last night, hoping to find out what he had planned for the day.

The ivory prince's gaze turned towards the dark female as she fell onto the ground after trying to stand on four paws. He walked over to her, two fishes in his jaws which he placed beside her. "Hurts isn't it? Is this your first time to feel so much pain?" he asked, his tone soft as he spoke and gave her a fish. "Don't lean on that shoulder too much," he advised the dark girl.

"You better eat, we're moving out today." he said, giving her one last glance with cerulean eyes as he turned and made his way towards the sea. He was going to have a good meal before they left.

RE: Blood Bound - Raven Vyler - August 24, 2014

She heard noses coming from the direction of the sea behind her, and slowly turned to prevent more damage to herself than she had already done. With a mildly sheepish look, she looked up at him, as he silently padded to her, with fish in his jaws.
"Hurts isn't it? Is this your first time to feel so much pain?"Raven nodded as he dropped the fish in front of her.

Raven shifted to her left shoulder at his request to not learn on the shoulder. She didn't intentionally mean to, for she was not u used to being incapable.

"You better eat, we're moving out today."

She wanted to cry at that. So soon after being maimed, they had to relocate?
She really had to rest at least for another day...but what he said was law, so she had to follow. And with that, she made up her mind to grit her teeth and ignore the pain that would happen on the travels, as she at her fish. Her resolve, and her mind were one in one, if she hoped to survive with the white male known as Syver.

The ivory prince returned to Raven, from his jaws hung three large fishes. Lowering himself on his haunches next to Raven, he began to eat breakfast, content to stay and rest for a while before leaving. He knew that Raven was in pain but still insisted for her to travel, it would strengthen her, physically and mentally and she would be able to cope with pain when she was alone.

"Remember not to lean on the bad shoulder or it will start bleeding like hell." he reminded her after swallowing the last chunk of fish and started on the second. "How did you sleep?" he asked her, wondering if she slept well. She would need all her energy for their journey.

RE: Blood Bound - Raven Vyler - August 24, 2014

Raven awaited his return, and did not begin to eat her fish until he began his meal, as customary to rules, alphas ate first. Then she started to eat.
He did not even look up as he reminded her of her shoulder, and she did not she again she leaned on it until he mentioned it. She quickly corrected herself, pushing her light weight onto her left shoulder again.

"How did you sleep?"

The question hung in the air for a few seconds as her brain immediately attempted to find a reason as to why he asked. Her conscious defended itself, again, refusing to shed goodness upon him. he asks to make sure you heal fast enough for him to punish you again, Räva.
Shaking her midnight crown at her own self, she replied.

"I slept very well."

Adding good measure of politeness and humble tones, she returned the question.
"How was your slumber?"

"I did not sleep, remember? I was standing watch, Ragnar might have issued the kill on sight order and we do not need to die just yet, do we?" he said calmly, swallowing the last bit of fish and gazing at her. "We will be leaving shortly but I need to re-dress your wound." he moved closer to her until he was right next to her.

Slowly he removed the cobwebs and the poultices, sniffing them before nodding approvingly and giving her a lick between the ears. "Come on, we need to get you to the sea." he rose to his paws and made his way towards the churning waters, obviously telling her to get up and follow him herself. Pain would help her later.

He waited at the edge of the waves, the water lapping at his paws. A pile of cobwebs and medical supplies lay beside him, they would leave soon. He did not like being so near Stavanger Bay territory.

"I did not sleep, remember? I was standing the watch, Ragnar might have issued the kill on sight order and we do not need to die just yet, do we?"

He had not slept? Raven wanted to stare at him in amazement, for he constantly surprised her, now and more with these feats. She would not have been able to move if he had not prompted her by leaving, for she relied on sleep.
After Syver redressed her wound, Raven noticed the pleased look come over his face, after his analysis. With that, she swished her tail, her relief evident.
When he had licked the top of her crown, again she dismissed it as his reason. He must have seen a bit of blood he missed.

"Come on, we need to get you to the sea."

Nodding, Raven tried to get to her fours again, and surprisingly, it went a bit better than expected. Perhaps it was the food, she hypothesized.
Raven followed the pale Wolf, determined to retrieve her strength back.
That means I would have to put my trust in him, for he had done more than most, for me.
At that thought, she severed it. She had to focus on following him to the sea.

"You need to clean that wound again, bath in the sea, it would help the wound heal faster. It would sting though." he said, nodding to her as he stepped back from the sea and began to sort out the herbs he had managed to find a collect. They would be useful later if they got into any fights or got sick. His father had taught him something useful other than fighting.

He rolled the herbs together, making sure that they were fresh, he also made sure to pack cobwebs. Finally he turned his icy gaze onto his subordinate, tilting his head slightly as he gazed at her.

RE: Blood Bound - Raven Vyler - August 25, 2014

"It would sting though."

At that, she froze, unaware of him studying her. Sting?... so many wounds. .
Raven laid her ears back with anxiety, but held in the wine that desperately wanted to make itself heard.
Raven gathered her courage. I if she could take the blows made to her, she could handle the sting that came with them as they tried to get themselves cleaned. She would have to, lest she suffer if not from her newly appointed Alpha, then from the wounds, themselves.

Raven murmured a brief "Azarartha, ayud se.", and sprinted straight into the water, determined to get the pain over as swiftly as possible.
And Syver was right. It stung. It stung a bit more than just a little. But gritting her jaws together, and closing her eyes, the wounds stung no more. With a gasp of relief, Raven hobnled out of the water, her silver blue orbs showing a light shine of tears from the quick pain, and she looked up at the white hessian, ready for the next task.

"I am done, Jarl."

"I am done, Jarl."

Syver looked up, noticing the light shine of tears in her eyes. Grabbing a bundle of herbs and cobwebs, he began chewing the herbs into a poultice and binding it to her with cobwebs. He knew it would hurt, his punishments always did and his victims always learnt their lessons. He towered over his subordinate before lowering his head and laying his head on top of hers briefly. "It'll get better, I promise." he whispered softly, gave her a quick lick on her cheek before withdrawing.

"We should go, can you walk? You can lean on me if you want." he might be a viking and harsh to others but he wasn't evil. Especially not to those he sworn to protect. Scandinavians were often known for their heartless and merciless attitudes and because they didn't fear death. However little had seen their loving side.

He walked over to her and pressed himself against her side, "Lean on me, it'll hurt less." he told her, his tail gently brushing the tip of hers encouragingly.

RE: Blood Bound - Raven Vyler - August 26, 2014

Raven watched him as he began preparing his medicines again. She noticed how much better sje felt after the dip into the saltwater, amd placed a mental reminder to thank him for it when they were on equal footing and settled down.
He came over to her, standing over her, and her heart seemed to increase its race. Was he about to punish her again? So soon after a massive healing that he worked upon, and she suffered through? She had the notion to cower, but looking up at him, she saw no evil intentions.

"It'll get better, I promise."
With that, a brief warmth was placed upon her dark cheek, and her heart almost completed a summersault. Had he. .. just licked her?
Her thoughts shut it down again, determined to keep her safe from the unknown feelings.
Another spot of blood. He saw a flake of fish you never felt.
Her thoughts swam. Did she not have just gotten out of chest deep water? Wouldn't the spray have gotten that off, on its own? She now doubted her own thoughts. Plus his tone did not help her resist it...

"We should go, can you walk? You can lean on me if you want."

Raven tested the durability of her leg. The stiffness that was in her chest seemed to vanish, besides the echo of tug that happened every breath she took. As for her shoulder, perhaps another day of this healing, yet with the travels that were to happen today, this would set it back a bit. Hopefully, not too much.

After he insisted, Raven took him up on his offer. He had gotten her this far. She walked over and leaned her dark soft body against his muscular tall pale one, trying to ignore the thoughts that tried bombarding again. She turned her silver gaze to his cerulean one, waiting for his next move, so she could mimic it.

The young ivory prince began walking slowly forward, he would have liked to walk a lot faster at his own pace but knew that Raven would probably fall and he didn't want her to get hurt yet. She was hurt enough already, by the wounds he had inflicted on her, he wasn't sorry for that. He hadn't been taught to feel sorry for those who deserved punishment but he decided not to punish her just yet.

"Are you alright?" he asked her after he walked for quite sometime already. He had no actual destination in his mind.

RE: Blood Bound - Raven Vyler - August 27, 2014

Every paw placed down brought a flare of pain to her, but the intensity dulled down after a longer pass of time. Its as if the numbness was slowly creeping into her wpunds, but sje could still move it. Was she..healing?

Leaning against Syver helped her remarkably. This made Raven grateful that she had not gone with her first thought, and had chosen to walk by her self, for she knew she was still a bit weak. Healing, but not up to perfection yet.
When you are returned to prime, you will be reduced to rubble, again. La ceŕtö het creta, aga. The cycle will begin again.
Raven shuddered, but pushed the horrid thought away. She knew of her new alphas mindset, though she did not understand over half of it, at least she had a better pawhold of what to do, and what not to do. What to believe, and what not to believe. And what she was to believe was that she had more comming. It was unstoppable. Unavoidable. He was a wolf of his word, and that was something he guaranteed her on the first day she pledged herself to him.

So she prodded on. She knew what was comming. And she would see to it, that she would have these experiences make her a better wolf, unknowing that that was his plan all along. She would, and she would be victorious, if she remained long enough to live, and fight for the next day.

"Are you alright?"
Raven flinched. She had been caught up in her thoughts, silence engulfing her. Along with that, she had forgotten that her shoulder had been mauled not too long ago, because the had not bothered her as much as she thought it would have by now. In her joy, Raven turned to Syver, with a light smile on her shadow embedded maw.
"I am well."

"I am well." he flashed her one of his smirks, cerulean blue eyes gleaming with amusement as he gazed at her. "Are you sure, Hrafn? I'm pretty sure you aren't really well with a bunch of wounds all over your body." he said casually as if that happened often, and to him it did. He felt as if he had a million scars decorating his ivory body and he was only the age of one and a half years. That was a life of a viking in his natal pack.

He moved forward, gaze determined but making sure that Raven could keep up too. Vikings weren't totally heartless people, they loved too and they sure protect their families even if they were ruthless, merciless and brutal in other ways.

RE: Blood Bound - Raven Vyler - August 28, 2014

"Are you sure, Hrafn? I'm pretty sure you aren't really well with a bunch of wounds all over your body."

Raven knew she was no viking. She was no hero, nope one who had accomplished great feats; he was. He dealt with this on a regular basis. She did not. She had to constantly remind herself to trust him, though it had become easier amd easier throughout their travels.

"Scars are things that do not go away. That means it is destiny to bear them. It is fate. Why not wear them with pride and honor, yes? "

Though Raven knew some scares were not recieved through glory or victories. Some were worn with shame. As she knew hers were. The brightness of the furless patches that abnormalicized her right shoulder and chest, where scars of shame.

Ducking her head, she followed his lead, never faltering in her light steps
